BRASSIERE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The present disclosure relates to support members for brassieres and other clothing. The support member may be manufactured by additive manufacturing, subtractive manufacturing methods, and injection molding, among others. The support member may include a thickness gradient devised to support a breast. The support member may be customized to the anatomy of a particular user. The support member may include one or more biometric sensors.
Triangle Top Assembly with Adjustable Level of Coverage
Disclosed herein are padded triangle assemblies for upper body garments that can be widened or narrowed to adjust coverage level. Each triangle assembly includes a pad underneath a layer of outer fabric. An upper region of the pad is attached to an upper region of the outer fabric. The pad has a thin lower flange that is attached to a lower region of the outer fabric. The lower region of the outer fabric is wider than the lower flange of the pad. In a narrowed configuration, the left and right sides of the lower region of the outer fabric are positioned close to the left and right sides of the lower flange of the pad. In a widened configuration, the left and right sides of the lower region of the outer fabric are positioned farther from the left and right sides of the lower flange of the pad.
Padding with integral breast prostheses
A single length of enhanced and contoured foam padding with two, integral breast mounds for the mastectomy patient is disclosed. This single length of enhanced padding is intended to be secured into a garment or adhered to the skin to restore a natural looking breast mound appearance in clothing while offering padded comfort over the sensitive areas caused by mastectomy.
CLOTHING ARTICLES HAVING ENCAPSULATION ZONES, AND SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SUCH CLOTHING ARTICLES
Clothing articles having one or more pre-defined encapsulation zones, as well as systems and methods of producing such clothing articles. A clothing article is made of a fabric intended to cover a region of a human body of a wearer. The fabric includes at least one encapsulation zone which is surrounded by a surrounding region. The encapsulation zone includes at least a first encapsulation region, which is surrounded by a second encapsulation region, which is surrounded by a third encapsulation region. The first encapsulation region has a first level of elasticity; the second encapsulation region has a second level of elasticity that is smaller than the first level of elasticity of the first encapsulation region; the third encapsulation region has a third level of elasticity that is smaller than the second level of elasticity of the second encapsulation region.
BRASSIERE WITH MODESTY ELEMENT
A brassiere apparatus is disclosed for supporting a user's breasts, the user having an upper torso. The brassiere apparatus can include a support strap and a pair of breast cups connected to the support strap, the breast cups oriented on the support strap to receive respective breasts of the user when the support strap is secured around the user's upper torso. Each breast cup can include an outer layer having an outer perimeter, an inner layer, and a modesty element positioned between the outer and inner layers and positioned to form an annular gap between the modesty element and the outer perimeter of the outer layer. The modesty element can be positioned on the breast cup to cover an apex of a user's breast when the brassiere apparatus is worn by a user.
WASHABLE QUICK-DRY PADS FOR USE WITH APPAREL
A pad may include a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface and the second surface may have a spherical curvature, and wherein the spherical curvature may be complementary to the bra portion. A pad may include a plurality of synthetic fibers disposed between the first surface and the second surface, wherein each of the plurality of synthetic fibers may contact the first surface and the second surface. A pad may include a pad permeability configured as a function of a quantity of the plurality of synthetic fibers and a length of the plurality of synthetic fibers, the pad permeability may be adapted to allow fluid passage of a liquid and prevent retention of said liquid.
YOUNG ADULT MODESTY SUPPORT GARMENT
Aspects herein provide for a modesty support garment structure comprising varying layers of construction in different areas of the support garment. The modesty support garment comprises a breast contacting portion, an upper chest portion, a back portion, and a pair of shoulder straps. The upper chest portion is positioned superior to the breast contacting portion. The back portion is connected to the breast contacting portion by a pair of side portions, and the pair of shoulder straps extend from the upper chest portion to the back portion. The breast contacting portion comprises a three-layer construction comprising an outer layer, an inner layer, and a spacer mesh material positioned between the outer layer and the inner layer, which provides modesty to the breast contacting area. Additionally, the upper chest portion comprises a two-layer construction comprising an inner layer and an outer layer.
YOUNG ADULT MODESTY SUPPORT GARMENT
Aspects herein provide for a modesty support garment structure comprising varying layers of construction in different areas of the support garment. The modesty support garment comprises a breast contacting portion, an upper chest portion, a back portion, and a pair of shoulder straps. The upper chest portion is positioned superior to the breast contacting portion. The back portion is connected to the breast contacting portion by a pair of side portions, and the pair of shoulder straps extend from the upper chest portion to the back portion. The breast contacting portion comprises a three-layer construction comprising an outer layer, an inner layer, and a spacer mesh material positioned between the outer layer and the inner layer, which provides modesty to the breast contacting area. Additionally, the upper chest portion comprises a two-layer construction comprising an inner layer and an outer layer.
BREAST SUPPORT GARMENT AND BREAST SUPPORT PANEL
A breast support garment that includes two breast cups defining a breast cup area for each breast of a wearer. Each breast cup has a lower periphery positioned generally below the breast of the wearer, a side periphery extending upward from the lower periphery to an apex of the cup, a bridge approach area, and a neckline periphery extending between the bridge approach area and the apex. A frame that is positioned against the breast of the wearer and located around at least a portion of the breast cup. A bridge part of the frame is arranged to bridge the two breast cups to connect the two breast cups together. A portion at least at the lower periphery of the frame is fixed on each breast cup and extends therefrom below the lower periphery. Each breast cup further comprises a support panel.
Single-piece pad insert for bras
Aspects herein are directed to a bra system comprising a single-piece pad insert and a bra having a front portion with a pocket in communication with a pocket space formed between two textile layers used to form the front portion of the bra. The single-piece pad insert is used to provide shaping, modesty and support. When desired, a wearer can insert the pad insert into the bra by way of the pocket opening.
