PORTABLE POWER CASE WITH HEAT-RESISTANT MATERIAL
Systems, methods, and articles for a portable power case are disclosed. The portable power case is comprised of at least one battery and at least one PCB. The portable power case has at least two access ports, at least two leads, or at least one access port and at least one lead and at least one USB port. The portable power case is operable to supply power to an amplifier, a radio, a wearable battery, a mobile phone, and a tablet. The portable power case is operable to be charged using solar panels, vehicle batteries, AC adapters, non-rechargeable batteries, and generators. The portable power case provides for modularity that allows the user to disassemble and selectively remove the batteries installed within the portable power case housing.
WEARABLE ARTICLE FOR A PERFORMANCE CAPTURE SYSTEM
Embodiments provide a wearable article for a performance capture system. In some embodiments, a wearable article includes one or more regions, where the one or more regions are configured to be worn on at least a portion of a body of a user, where the one or more regions have a first pliability and a second pliability, where the first pliability and the second pliability are different pliabilities, and where at least one of the one or more regions are configured to hold devices in predetermined positions while maintaining shape and respective pliability. In some embodiments, the wearable article also includes a plurality of mounting mechanisms coupled to the one or more regions for mounting one or more reference markers to be used for position determination.
SLIDE CONNECTOR
A slide connector has a garment-side connector portion and a module-side connector portion to be fitted with the garment-side connector portion in a fitting plane, the garment-side connector portion including first contact portions each having a contact surface parallel to the fitting plane and at least one locking portion having a locking surface parallel to the fitting plane, the module-side connector portion including second contact portions each elastically movable and at least one portion to be locked extending in parallel to the fitting plane, as the module-side connector portion is superimposed on the garment-side connector portion and slid along the fitting plane, each second contact portion comes into contact with the contact surface of a corresponding first contact portion to establish electrical connection, and the at least one portion to be locked domes into contact with the locking surface of the at least one locking portion.

It is disclosed a capacitive touch sensor (10) comprising a support layer (1) and a plurality of sensing elongated elements (2) coupled to said support layer (1), said plurality of sensing elongated elements (2) comprising a plurality of electrically resistive elongated elements (2r), wherein said plurality of electrically resistive elongated elements (2r) comprises a first set (2rx) of electrically resistive elongated elements (2r) electrically connected to a first common node (Nx) configured to be electrically connected to a first input (INx) of a detection device (5), said detection device (5) being configured to provide an output signal (S_OUT) comprising a first output value (OUTx) that is a function of the capacitance value (CRx) of said first set (2rx) of electrically resistive elongated elements (2r). An article comprising the capacitive touch sensor (10) and a method for detecting a touch event on a support layer (1) are also disclosed.
Physiological monitoring garments
Described herein are apparatuses (e.g., garments, including but not limited to shirts, pants, and the like) for detecting and monitoring physiological parameters, such as respiration, cardiac parameters, and the like. Also described herein are methods of forming garments having one or more stretchable conductive ink patterns and methods of making garments having one or more highly stretchable conductive ink pattern formed of a composite of an insulative adhesive, a conductive ink, and an intermediate gradient zone between the adhesive and conductive ink. The conductive ink typically includes between about 40-60% conductive particles, between about 30-50% binder; between about 3-7% solvent; and between about 3-7% thickener. The stretchable conductive ink patterns may be stretched more than twice their length without breaking or rupturing.
APPARATUS FOR LAYING CONDUCTIVE PATHWAYS, METHOD OF LAYING CONDUCTIVE PATHWAYS AND TEXTILE PRODUCT COMPRISING CONDUCTIVE PATHWAYS
A conductive tape formed by laying a conductive pathway on a tape layer is disclosed. Various apparatus and methods for laying conductive pathways to form conductive tape are disclosed. The conductive pathways may be laid by varying the lateral position of the conductive pathway on the tape substrate. Such patterns all stretchable conductive tape to be realized. Multiple conductive pathways may be laid in the tape and the lateral separation of the pathways in the tape may vary. In some embodiments the pathways are formed from conductive yarn or by printing or laying conductive ink.
AIR-CONDITIONED CLOTHING ADAPTED TO HELMET
An air-conditioned clothing for use with a helmet which can be used when the helmet is worn as well as when the helmet is not worn, includes a clothing main body, at least one fan, an air blow-out unit, a guide sheet and an attachment unit. The air is made to flow through an air flow path by the at least one fan and the flowing air evaporates sweat coming out from a body to cool the body with heat of evaporation and in a case where the helmet is worn, the air which blows out from the air blow-out unit is guided to the helmet by the guide sheet and taken into the helmet from an air intake which is formed between an inner edge of the helmet and the head of the user in order to circulate the air inside the helmet.
Insertable Lighting Module with Light Effect Material
A lighting unit is removably inserted into a pocket to create a light effect through use of a light effect material. The lighting unit has a PCB with a first side to which one or more LEDs and a battery are mounted. A clear potting material encloses the PCB, LEDs, and the battery and creates a transparent space proximate an inner surface of the light effect material which maintains the light effect material at a preselected distance from the LEDs so that light emitted from each light emitting die is dispersed by a plurality of dispersive elements in the light effect materials to create the light material viewing effect.
Active baby illuminating sash
A sash comprising a pressure sensitive material which reacts to the movements of an unborn baby and causes the illumination of corresponding areas of the sash on the mother's abdomen in response to the movement of the baby. The sash includes a strip of fabric or material of a selected size and shape to cover a selected portion of the abdomen of an expectant mother containing the baby. Means of fastening such as a hook and loop fastener are combined with an elastic belt secure the sash around the mother's abdomen. The touch sensitive fabric reacts to movements of the baby and causes lights over the active area to be illuminated. The result is a light show for viewers showing the unborn baby's activity.
Washable intelligent garment and components thereof
The present relates to a washable interconnection patch, a connection assembly, and an intelligent washable garment equipped therewith. The patch receives and interconnects wires to a cable. The patch comprises two matching pieces interlocking together so as to define there between two opposite apertures. One of the apertures is adapted to receive and hold the wires, and the other aperture is adapted to receive and hold the cable. One of the two matching pieces defines on an interior face a channel to interconnect the wires to the cables. The connection assembly comprises a male connector and a female connector. The male connector defines a series of independent connection points along a length thereof. The female connector is adapted to receive the male connector, and defines along a length of an inner surface thereof a series of contact points. When the male connector is inserted within the female connector, the connection points and the contact points are aligned and in contact together.
