Sensor node attachment mechanism and cable retrieval system
An attachment system for releasably attaching a sensor node to a cable when in a coupled state includes a clamp base and a clamp grip. The clamp base is fixed to a surface of the sensor node. The clamp base further includes a latch that is biased in a latched position when the attachment system is in both the coupled state and an uncoupled state. The clamp grip is pivotably attached the clamp base and biased in an open position when the attachment system is in the uncoupled state. The clamp grip is secured to the clamp base by the latch when the attachment system is in the coupled state.
System and method for handling reel of pipe
A system includes a frame and a first pair of rollers coupled to a first side of the frame. The first pair of rollers is configured to support a first end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a first cradle disposed longitudinally between the first pair of rollers and a second pair of rollers coupled to a second side of the frame. The second pair of rollers is configured to support a second end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a second cradle disposed longitudinally between the second pair of rollers, a pipe guide coupled to a third side of the frame between the first and second sides, a pipe brake coupled to the frame, and a pipe re-spooler coupled to the frame.
Inflatable pipe drum systems and methods
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a pipe drum system that includes a drum body. The drum body is to be disposed within an interior channel of a pipe coil that is formed from a flexible pipe including tubing that defines a pipe bore and a fluid conduit within a tubing annulus. The drum body includes a drum core implemented with substantially fixed dimensions and a fluid bladder layer implemented circumferentially around the drum core. The pipe drum system maintains the fluid bladder layer in a first state to enable the drum body to be inserted into the interior channel of the pipe coil after the pipe coil is formed and increases inflation of the fluid bladder layer from the first state to a second state to enable an outer surface of the drum body to push against an inner surface of the pipe coil to facilitate supporting the pipe coil.
PIPE SPOOLING DEPLOYMENT EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a system that includes a pipe drum, which has a drum shaft and a drum body that enables a pipe segment to be spooled on the pipe drum, and pipe deployment equipment. The pipe deployment equipment includes a brake disc, which has a shaft socket that is keyed to matingly interlock with the drum shaft to facilitate tying rotation of the pipe drum with rotation of the brake disc, and a spooling assembly that includes a motor shaft, in which the spooling assembly ties rotation of the motor shaft with the rotation of the brake disc to enable the pipe deployment equipment to actively rotate the brake disc in a first direction to facilitate spooling the pipe segment off of the pipe drum, to actively rotate the brake disc in a second direction to facilitate spooling the pipe segment onto the pipe drum, or both.
NONREMOVABLE LINKAGE
A nonremovable linkage for securing a rack assembly to a frame, the linkage securing or automatically securing the rack assembly to the frame at a first position in response to the rack assembly returning to the first position from a second position.
INSTALLATION TRAILER FOR COILED FLEXIBLE PIPE AND METHOD OF UTILIZING SAME
A system includes a collapsible trailer frame and a lifting mechanism coupled to the collapsible trailer frame. The lifting mechanism is configured to raise or lower a coil of pipe or a reel of pipe. The system also includes a braking mechanism.
Space debris engagement and deorbit system
Exemplary embodiments described herein include innovative engagement devices. Exemplary engagement devices may include on or more tape spring systems. The tape spring system may include a continuous or segmented bi-stable tape spring. The tape spring can be stowed in a rolled up configuration, extended to a deployed configuration, and then triggered to return to a retracted configuration.
Interchangeable tarp deployment system
A tarp deployment system for unwinding and taking up a flexible tarpaulin. The system includes a tarp deployment machine and a spool configured to receive and retain a flexible tarpaulin. A spool gear extends radially from at least one end of the spool. A cylindrical cage has a series of parallel shafts parallel to an axis shaft of the cage. A cage gear extends from the cage axis shaft and a drive mechanism drives the cage gear in order to rotate the spool. Power is transmitted to the cage gear which then rotates the cylindrical cage which engages and rotates the spool gear.
HOSE REEL SYSTEMS
In accordance with example embodiments a hose reel system including a layout guide is provided.
Well pipe removal and storage device, system and method
A device, system and method of use for removing well pipe and a subterranean well pump and storing such removed pipe on a spool.
