SELF-REELING BELT DRIVE
20220194735 · 2022-06-23 ·

The present disclosure involves a belt drive mechanism which can be used to pay out or draw belt to or from a belt actuated system (or belt driven system). The mechanism features a self-winding spool which can automatically wind or unwind portions of the belt as they are withdrawn from, or fed to the belt actuated system. A second rotational axle (idler shaft), with one or more sheaves (e.g., pulley's or rollers) can be rotationally coupled to a capstan via a belt, and can be utilized to drive additional mechanisms in the belt drive mechanism, such as a winding mechanism.

Rotatable cable reel

A cable reel of the present disclosure can include two flanges and a central drum being independently rotatable from one another. The drum, which can be configured to receive a cable, can be mounted on an axle. The two flanges can be rotationally mounted on the axle at opposing distal ends of the axle. Bearings in the flanges can allow for a full rotation of the flanges about the axle.

WEBBING TAKE-UP DEVICE
20220177260 · 2022-06-09 ·

A mechanism that limits pulling out of a webbing from a spool is electrically activated. A webbing take-up device is provided with the spool, a pawl, magnets, and a coil. In a case in which displaced to a locking position, the pawl locks rotation of the spool in the pull-out direction. The magnets are fixed to the pawl. The coil is formed by winding of a conductive wire and is disposed in close proximity with the magnets. The pawl is displaced or urged by electric current being applied to the coil.

WIRE RETRACTING DEVICE

A wire retracting device includes a base having a platform, a limiting board disposed on the base, a cover including a top surface and a side wall, a slide block slidably disposed on a sliding area, and a transmission wire disposed in an accommodating space formed between the cover and the base. An annular wall is arranged on the platform, and has a limiting portion that has a first stop portion and a second stop portion respectively formed on two sides thereof. A gap, in which the cover is limited to being movable, is formed between the limiting board and the platform. The top surface has a grooved opening, and a lever is arranged on an inner edge thereof. The side wall is disposed along an edge of the top surface. The sliding area is formed between the inner edge of the grooved opening and the annular wall.

SLOW RETRACTION MECHANISM, LOCKING-TYPE SLOW RETRACTION DEVICE AND WINDING DEVICE
20220144581 · 2022-05-12 ·

A slow retraction mechanism, a locking-type slow retraction device and a winding device. The slow retraction mechanism fits with a winder including a main shaft and a main body rotatably sleeved thereon. The main body can rotate around the main shaft to wind or unwind flexible materials. The slow retraction mechanism includes a blocking part, a decelerating part rotatably arranged on the main body, and an elastic part arranged on the main body and connected with the decelerating part. When the main body rotates around the main shaft in a first direction to wind the flexible material, the decelerating part rotates relative to the main body along a second direction opposite to the first direction to approach the blocking part to rub against the blocking part to reduce a rotation speed. The elastic part applies an elastic force to hinder the decelerating part from rotating along the second direction.

Line handling device for letting out, winding up, and locking a line

A line-handling device is for letting out, winding up and locking a line. The line-handling device has: a first handle; a substantially flat reel which is rotatable relative to the first handle; a line-guiding part which is fixed relative to the first handle; a locking mechanism for locking the reel in a non-rotatable position; and an attachment element for a tautening device, the reel being displaceable relative to the first handle parallel to the rotational axis of the reel. A line-handling system is for suspending a line between two anchoring points and a method is for suspending a line between two anchoring points.

Motorized Retractable Ribbon Barrier

An apparatus includes a housing, a rotatable spool disposed within the housing, a belt at least partially wound onto the spool, a motorized retraction mechanism disposed within the housing, coupled to the spool, and configured cause rotation of the spool in a first direction for winding the belt onto the spool, and a tensioning mechanism disposed within the housing, coupled to the spool, and configured to prevent over-rotation of the spool in a second direction opposite the first direction while the belt is being dispensed from the spool.

Retractable cable assembly in use with electrical devices

A retractable cable assembly in use with an electrical charger, power adapter, or other power supply. A cable wound on a spool disposed within a housing may be extracted by manually pulling on the cable or pressing of a release switch until the desired length of the cable is drawn. As the cable is drawn an engaged locking mechanism is used to keep the cable in place during and after extraction of the cable until which time retraction of the cable is desired. A retraction actuator disengages the locking mechanism, thereby freeing the cable and immediately retracting the cable within the housing.

Lacing engine systems, apparatus, and methods of operation are discussed. In an example, a lacing engine apparatus can include a housing, a drivetrain, and a lace take-up mechanism for retracting a length of lace cable upon activation. The drivetrain can include various reduction gears to reduce rotational speed out of the motor and power the lace take-up mechanism. The lace take-up mechanism can include structures such as a double-yoke, a radial pulley including an outer rotating disc and an inner stationary disc, a variable take-up spool, or a zip-strip mechanism.
