Running-end spool containment device and system
Running-end spool containment devices and systems are described herein that allow a user to secure a running-end of a strap within a lockable device to anchor the running-end of the strap at a selectable length when the device is in a locked mode, and to enable the running-end of the strap be lengthened or shortened when the device is in an unlocked mode. In an embodiment, the device includes an axel about which the running-end of a strap can be wound and unwound, a lock case that can engage the axel to prevent axel rotation in the locked mode and that can be disengaged from the axel to allow the axel to rotate freely in the unlocked mode, and a spring case that causes the axel to rotate and the running-end of the strap to wind around the axel when the lock cases is in the unlocked mode.
Cable reel eddy current brake
A reel device may include a stator and a rotor rotationally coupled with the stator. The rotor may include a drum for spooling a cable. The reel device may also include a biasing mechanism configured to rotate the rotor to spool the cable onto the drum, and a magnet connected to one of the stator or the rotor. The other of the stator or the rotor may include a conductive material that interfaces with the magnet when the rotor is turned to slow spooling of the cable onto the drum.
Cord organizer
A cord or cable organizer includes a housing further including a housing inner circular track, an opening, and an attachment hole therein, a rotational component further including at least one hole on a surface of the rotational component, further including a rotational inner circular track wherein the rotational inner circular track operably connects with the housing inner circular track, thereby providing friction, and an insertion hole receiver, and a plug, wherein the plug is inserted through the attachment hole on the housing and continues to the insertion hole receiver whereby the plug operably holds the cable organizer together.
RETRACTABLE STRAP
A strap may be removably attachable to a container. The strap may include a retractor having an opening, a retraction spring and a brake. The strap may further include a strip of flexible material attached to the retraction spring and extending through the opening of the retractor. The strap may also include clips attaching the retractor and distal end of the flexible material to the container. The strip of flexible material may move from a fully retracted position, where the distal end of the strip of flexible material is nearest the retractor, relative to the entire length of the strip of flexible material, to an extended position where the distal end of the strip of flexible material is furthest from the retractor. The retraction spring may bias the strip of flexible material into/toward the fully retracted position.
Coiled tubing reel and coiled tubing vehicle
The present invention relates to the field of petroleum extraction equipment, and discloses a coiled tubing reel and a coiled tubing vehicle. The coiled tubing reel comprises a reel body assembly configured to wind a coiled tubing and a driving component configured to drive the reel body assembly, wherein, the reel body assembly comprises a reel body, a reel shaft, a transmission gear, and a first bearing block and a second bearing block that are oppositely arranged and spaced from each other, wherein the reel body is fixedly fitted on the reel shaft, the two ends of the reel shaft are rotatably arranged on the first bearing block and the second bearing block respectively, the transmission gear is fixed with respect to the reel shaft to drive the reel shaft to rotate, the driving component is fixedly arranged on the first bearing block and at least partially disposed inside the reel body, and the driving component comprises a driving gear that is engaged with the transmission gear. The coiled tubing reel and coiled tubing vehicle provided in the present invention can increase the coiled tubing winding capacity, provide high transmission torque, and operate smoothly and steadily at a low speed, while meeting the requirement for transportation dimension.
Dispensing Mechanism with Swivel-Aiming Feature for Reel Utility
A vehicle-mounted reel utility with a cable dispenser. The cable dispenser has a swivel-aiming feature for
System and method for handling reel of pipe
A system includes a frame and a first pair of rollers coupled to a first side of the frame. The first pair of rollers is configured to support a first end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a first cradle disposed longitudinally between the first pair of rollers and a second pair of rollers coupled to a second side of the frame. The second pair of rollers is configured to support a second end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a second cradle disposed longitudinally between the second pair of rollers, a pipe guide coupled to a third side of the frame between the first and second sides, a pipe brake coupled to the frame, and a pipe re-spooler coupled to the frame.
Level winder
A level winder (10, 110, 210, 310) for use on a hose reel (1), the level winder including: a carriage (20, 120, 220) operatively connected to a hose guide (104-108), the carriage adapted to control the winding of the hose onto the hose reel and to allow the hose to be paid out through the hose guide; and a drive mechanism 30 carrying at least one drive dog (32, 136) that is adapted to travel in a substantially vertical drive mechanism plane and to engage a carriage guide (12, 112) on which the carriage is mounted to move the carriage reciprocally along a track. The carriage guide is aligned in the same plane that the drive dog travels and the carriage guide comprises at least one curved surface (14, 114) adapted to define a recess (13, 113) and to engage a curved surface of the drive dog (16, 116), such that at least a portion of the drive dog curved surface (I6) is always facing or engaged with the carriage guide curved surface (14) and remains trapped in the recess (12, 113).
