Hose Reel
A hose reel includes a frame, a spool supported on the frame for rotation relative to the frame, a motor supported on the frame to provide motive power to the spool, a level wind device supported on the frame to guide a hose during winding and unwinding; the level wind device being selectively linked to the rotation of the spool and including a disengagement clutch for selectively decoupling the operation of the level wind device from the rotation of the spool. The hose reel may be selectively operated to provide a power-out assist during unwinding that provides a power level to the motor less than a threshold power necessary to drive the spool in the unwinding direction.
Strap feeding device for strapping machine
A strap feeding device includes first driving and driven rollers, second driving and driven rollers, an actuating unit, and a detecting unit. The actuating unit can move the second driving roller between a released position, where the second driven roller is spaced apart from the second driving roller, and a contact, where the second driven roller contacts the second driving roller and is co-rotatable with the second driving roller to clamp and move a strap. The control device controls rotation of the first and second driving rollers to feed and return the strap, detects rotation of the first driven roller, and controls the actuating unit to move the second driven roller to the contact and released positions.
BOX LACING CHANNEL FOR AUTOMATED FOOTWEAR PLATFORM
A footwear acing apparatus can comprise a housing structure, a spool and a drive mechanism. The housing structure can comprise a first inlet, a second inlet, and a lacing channel extending between the first and second inlets. The lacing channel can comprise a spool receptacle located between the first and second inlets, a first relief area located between the spool receptacle and the first inlet, and a second relief area located between the spool receptacle and the second inlet. The first and second relief areas can be linearly tapered between the spool receptacle and the first and second inlets, respectively. The spool can be disposed in the spool receptacle of the lacing channel. The drive mechanism can be coupled with the spool and adapted to rotate the spool to wind or unwind a lace cable extending through the lacing channel and through the spool.
REEL UNWINDING AND WINDING CONTROL
An electrical cord reel assembly can include a spool configured to wind and unwind an electrical cord therefrom. The electrical cord reel assembly can include a motor configured to rotate the spool to wind and unwind the electrical cord about the spool. The electrical cord reel assembly can include a controller in electrical communication with the motor and the electrical cord. The controller can be configured to, in response to an unwind command, place or maintain the electrical cord in a power off state. The controller can be configured to in response to the unwind command, transmit an unwind signal to the motor to cause the motor to unwind the electrical cord from the spool. The controller can be configured to automatically place the electrical cord in a power on state based at least in part on an amount of rotation of the spool during the unwinding.
Compact motorized tensioning device for footwear
A tensioning system for articles of footwear and articles of apparel is disclosed. The tensioning system includes a spool system that can be engaged or disengaged from a driveshaft through the use of a cam device. The motorized tensioning device includes a torque transmitting system that allows for incremental tightening, incremental loosening and full loosening of the tensile element.
VEHICLE COVER AND INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEM
A system includes a vehicle cover, a mechanical tensioning device, a memory device, storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute instructions to perform the steps of a method to secure a vehicle. The mechanical tensioning device may include attachment means to attach the device to a wheel of the vehicle and means to attach a security cable of the vehicle cover integrated into a bottom edge of the vehicle cover to the mechanical tensioning device. The mechanical tensioning device may include a rotational reel connected to either a tensioning motor or a tensioning crank and optionally including either a mechanical bi-stable device or one or more sensors configured to monitor the tension of the security cable when engaged to the mechanical tensioning device. The processor may monitor for a change in tension and execute one or more security measures in response.
Handheld portable power hose roller
A portable hose winding machine includes a power head including a motor in a motor housing, with the motor having an output shaft and a bar coupled to the motor housing. The bar further includes an aperture or other fixtures such as a fairlead through which a hose is guided while being spooled up on a driven shaft. Spooling is driven by a rod axially parallel to and radially spaced apart from a driven spool shaft, and a protective plate shields the user's hands from errant spinning hose end fixtures.
Hose Reel
A hose reel for coiling a hose includes a frame and a reel assembly rotatably connected to the frame about an axis of rotation. The reel assembly includes a drum assembly having a drum surface configured to receive and support the hose as the drum assembly is rotated about the axis of rotation to coil the hose around the drum surface. The drum assembly includes a hose fitting defining a fluid outlet. The hose fitting is configured to be connected to one end of the hose to fluidly connect the hose to the fluid outlet. The drum assembly defines a recess in the drum surface in which the fluid outlet of the hose fitting is disposed such that at least a portion of the fluid outlet is disposed between the axis of rotation and the drum surface.
Box lacing channel for automated footwear platform
A footwear lacing apparatus can comprise a housing structure, a spool and a drive mechanism.
Medium supporting device and recording device
A medium supporting device including a support part configured to support a roll body on which a sheet shaped medium is wound, a shaft serving as a rotary axis of the roll body and secured with the support part, and a driver configured to rotate the roll body supported by the support part. The shaft is secured to the support part by using a metal plate having a flat surface provided with an insertion hole, the insertion hole being a hole into which the shaft is inserted. An outer circumference part of the metal plate is restricted from moving in a rotation direction of the roll body relative to an inner circumference part of the support part.
