Cable reel for a high-voltage cable
A cable holder for the long-term storage and the rapid transport of high-voltage cables, is storable for long periods with little outlay. The cable holder includes a rotatable cable reel which has a winding cylinder and side limits which are connected for conjoint rotation with the winding cylinder and protrude over the circumference of the winding cylinder. A holding frame is provided for rotatably mounting the cable reel. A high-voltage cable is wound onto the cable reel. The winding cylinder has a diameter of over 1300 mm.
Methods and systems for an autonomously retracting hose
A swimming pool cleaner coupled to a hose, wherein the hose is configured to automatically extend and retract.
CIPP Liner Reel System
A CIPP liner reel system for managing the utilization and deployment of CIPP liners. The CIPP liner reel system generally includes a frame connected to a reel and drive unit. The drive unit is connected to the reel to control the rotation of its core. This core contains an opening that provides access to a connector unit within the core. This connector unit can be used to connect the reel to the end of a CIPP liner using a strap. Rotation of the core causes CIPP liner to wind on to or unwind from the reel. The reel may also contain a left guide member and a right guide member to assist in controlling the process of winding and unwinding the CIPP liner. The frame may also include a tractor connector that enables the CIPP liner reel system to be coupled to and transported by a tractor without affecting its operation.
HOSE REEL SYSTEMS
In accordance with example embodiments a hose reel system including a layout guide is provided.
Conduit storage or deployment system and associated methods
A buoyant conduit storage system comprising a reel for storing conduit and a drive arrangement for rotating the reel. The reel is rotatable about a substantially vertical axis of rotation to reel and/or unreel the conduit. The drive arrangement drives the reel at the axis of rotation. The buoyant storage system may provide for the storage and/or transportation and/or deployment of reelable conduit.
HOSE-REELING APPARATUS
A hosed-reeling apparatus comprising a hose reel and a rack having a front opening for demountably receiving and supporting the hose reel. The hose reel has two sidewalls, a connection member concentrically coupling the two sidewalls, and two spindles extending laterally outward from the centers of the two sidewalls, respectively. The rack has at least a base framework, and a locking structure configurable between an unlock position and a lock position. The base framework has two upward facing channels on opposite sides thereof for demountably receiving the hose reel spindles. The channels are accessible from thereabove when the locking structure is at the unlock position, and the channels are inaccessible from thereabove when the locking structure is at the lock position. Each of the sidewalls of the hose reel may have at least one straight outer edge, allowing the hose reel sit stably on a horizontal surface or a ramp.
HOSE REEL BRAKE APPARATUS
A hose reel apparatus has a frame and a drum rotatably attached on the frame for receiving a hose wound thereon. A drive system and brake assembly are attached on the frame operatively engaged with the drum. An indexer is slidably mounted on a guide rail on the frame having a channel for receiving the hose and adjacent clamp arms which are selectively operable to clamp the hose.
HYDRAULICALLY DRIVEN AGRICULTURAL HOSE REEL
Embodiments of a hydraulically driven agricultural hose reel comprise a spool, a frame, the hose reel having a front end, back end, drive side, and a free side. The hose reel includes a hydraulic motor system powered by a hydraulic pump, which turns the spool though a transmission assembly. The hydraulic motor system comprises a manifold that selectively sets the hose reel to a series operating configuration, parallel operating configuration, or a free wheel operating configuration.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AN AUTONOMOUSLY RETRACTING HOSE
A swimming pool cleaner coupled to a hose, wherein the hose is configured to automatically extend and retract
Reel Control Systems with Data Logging
An electronic control unit may, based on received sensor data, automatically direct the operation of a reel assembly for deploying a cable, hose or umbilical connection. The electronic control unit may operate in conjunction with an electro-pneumatic drive to control the reel assembly. Sensors may measure various parameters, such as a measured line tension and/or a length of cable, hose or umbilical connection that has been deployed, and transmit the measured data to the electronic control unit. Optionally, the sensor data and/or user control inputs and system status information may be logged. The system also may use this data to control the system, such as by activating an alarm when a certain alarm limit is exceeded by the data, adjusting the pressure or other parameters of the electro-pneumatic drive, and the like. The system also may generate a visual notification for an operator when an alarm is triggered.
