BLIND BODY ACTUATOR FOR NON-CORD WINDOW BLIND ASSEMBLY
A blind body actuator used in a non-cord window blind is provided to include a casing, a winding mechanism, a set of guide units, a set of lift-cord wheels, and a set of lift cords. The winding mechanism is rotatably mounted in the casing and includes a plurality of meshed and juxtaposed winding wheels and volute springs wound around the abovementioned winding wheels. The lift-cord wheels are meshed with the winding wheels and employed to wind the lift cords. The guide units contain some cylinder rollers that are employed for winding the lift cords based on actual needs.
Tape rule assembly with differential spring-drive systems
A tape rule assembly includes differential spring-drive systems for rotating a reel of tape through an angular distance different from the angular distance traveled by a hub carrying a wound spring, relative to the tape rule housing. The differential spring drive systems include planetary and cycloidal drive systems. The tape rules of the present invention are thus made more compact than conventional tape rules.
Hose reel
A hose reel includes a frame, a reel rotatably arranged within the frame and a rewind mechanism with a spring. A removable lid is attached to the frame and encloses an inside of the hose reel from all directions to prevent a user of the hose reel from accessing the inside of the hose reel. An axle is rotatable in relation to the reel. A first end of the spring is attached to the reel and a second end of the spring is attached to the axle. The axle has an outer end connected to the lid to prevent mutual rotation between the lid and the outer end in a direction which decreases the spring force of the spring.
AMBIDEXTURAL RETRACTING REEL AND DEVICE SECURABLE TO AN ARTICLE
A retractor device includes a housing including a back plate, a faceplate spaced apart from the back plate, and a sidewall extending between the back plate and the faceplate. The retractor device also includes a rotatable reel inside the housing, a spring biasing rotation of the rotatable reel in one direction, a tether wound around the rotatable reel, and an end fitting coupled to an end of the tether. A retainer of the housing is in contact with the end fitting when the end fitting is in the retracted position. The retractor device also includes at least one bearing inside the housing proximate to the retainer, and first and second extension openings in the sidewall of the housing on opposite sides of the retainer. The tether is configured to engage the bearing when the tether is extended through one of the first and second extension openings.
Tape measure with epicyclic gear drive for tape retraction
A tool, such as a tape measure, including a spring-based retraction system is shown. The retraction system utilizes an epicyclic gear train coupled between the tape blade winding reel and a rotating arbor or axle within the tape measure. A spiral spring has an outer end coupled to the reel and an inner end coupled to the axle. The gear train may be a reduction gear train such that the axle rotates slower than the reel. By coupling the spiral spring between the gear train input and gear train output, high energy density springs may be used, which may allow for decrease in housing size, increase in tape length or thickness for a given housing size, and/or advantageous retraction speed control.
RETRACTABLE DUCK DECOY WEIGHT
A weight retraction device for use with a waterfowl decoy includes a housing having a spool rotatably coupled thereto. A weight is attached to a line that is wound around the spool. Rotation of the spool in a first rotational direction causing an unwinding of the line from the spool to cause the weight to extend away from the housing while rotation of the spool in a second rotational direction causing a rewinding of the line back onto the spool to cause the weight to retract back towards the housing. A power spring is configured to urge the spool to rotate in the second rotational direction. A lock release mechanism is configured to normally be in a locked configuration for preventing an undesired rotation of the spool in the second rotational direction. A manual actuation of the lock release mechanism releases the locked configuration of the lock release mechanism.
END EFFECTOR DEVICE, ROBOTIC HAND DEVICE, AND ROBOTIC DEVICE
An end effector device includes a housing, a cable, and a winding mechanism. The cable includes at least one of lines that include a power supply line and a signal line. The winding mechanism is located inside the housing and configured to wind the cable. The winding mechanism includes a case, a reel, and a spiral spring. The reel is supported in the case and allowed to rotate and wind the cable. The spiral spring urges the reel in a retrieval direction of the cable pulled out of the reel.
SEAT CABLE ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A seat assembly within an internal cabin of a vehicle includes an electrical interface housing that contains a first portion of a cable that is configured to provide one or both of electrical power or electrical signals to one or more electrical components. A cable reel rotatably coupled to a body of the electrical interface housing. The cable reel is configured to rotate about an axis. The first portion of the cable includes an adjustable coil that is coiled around the cable reel. The cable reel is rotatable in a first direction to deploy the first portion of the cable outwardly from the electrical interface housing and a second direction to retract the first portion of the cable inwardly into the electrical interface housing.
DUAL WIRE ROPE MOTOR REEL
A reeling device including a housing, a retraction mechanism, a shaft rotatable by the retraction mechanism, a first drum coupled to the shaft, and a second drum coupled to the shaft, wherein the second drum has an inner diameter greater than an inner diameter the first drum. A first wire rope is attached around the first drum and secured to a first position on an electrical cable. A second wire rope is attached around the second drum and secured to a first position on an electrical cable, the second position being distal to the first position.
PORTABLE INTERFACE SYSTEM
A portable interface system comprises an interface device, in particular a sensor device, and a base part, wherein the base part comprises an attachment area for the interface device and a retraction device, wherein the retraction device is attached to the interface device and is designed to move the interface device into a predefined holding position in the attachment area, wherein the interface device is detachably fixed without tools in the holding position in the attachment area.
