SHEET FEED DEVICE AND IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
A housing is formed with a first opening and a sheet conveyance path. A tray is inserted into the housing through the first opening in a first direction and pulled out in a second direction opposite from the first direction. The tray supports a sheet. The tray includes a bottom plate, a front plate, and a cover. The bottom plate supports a sheet. The front plate protrudes upward from an end portion of the bottom plate in the second direction. The cover is configured to move between a first position at which the cover closes a second opening and a second position at which the cover opens the second opening. The second opening is defined by an end of a top plate in the second direction and an upper end of the front plate, the top plate covering an upper side of a space that accommodates a sheet.
SHEET FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
In a sheet feeder that feeds a sheet to an image forming apparatus, a sheet placing table has a placement surface on which a sheet is placed and is inclined downward toward a downstream side in a sheet feeding direction. A sheet detecting unit has an operation piece that presses a leading end of the sheet toward an upstream side in the sheet feeding direction with predetermined pressure. A regulating member is arranged in a vicinity of an end part of the sheet placing table on the upstream side in the sheet feeding direction. The regulating member regulates movement of the sheet to the upstream side in the sheet feeding direction and has regulating portions having different heights from the placement surface of the sheet placing table. The regulating portions are arranged so that the heights are increased toward the upstream side in the sheet feeding direction.
Image forming apparatus
A first cover includes a first discharge tray portion and a first recess. The first discharge tray portion supports a discharged sheet. The first recess is formed at the first discharge tray portion. The first recess extends along a sheet discharge direction to a downstream end of the first discharge tray portion in the sheet discharge direction. The second cover surrounds the first cover. A second cover includes a second discharge tray portion and a second recess. The second discharge tray portion is arranged downstream of the first discharge tray portion in the sheet discharge direction. The second discharge tray portion supports the discharged sheet in cooperation with the first discharge tray portion. The second recess is arranged downstream of the first recess in the discharge direction. The second recess is formed continuously from the first recess, and serves as a sheet handle portion in cooperation with the first recess.
Paper ejection apparatus including tray stored in a housing to be pullable out
The paper ejection apparatus includes a housing including an ejection slot for ejecting a paper and a storage space provided below the ejection slot, a tray, formed in an arcuate shape to extend downwards and stored in the storage space to be pullable out from the storage space, for stacking the paper ejected from the ejection slot when the tray is pulled out from the storage space, and a cover swingably provided on the housing between the ejection slot and an opening of the storage space. A swinging end of the cover moves downwards by working with an operation for pulling the tray out from the storage space.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, a sheet stacking portion on which a sheet discharged from the apparatus body is to be stacked, an extension member, and an upper device. The extension member is rotatable about a rotating fulcrum between a first position at which the extension member is stored in the sheet stacking portion and a second position at which the extension member extends to downstream of the sheet stacking portion in a sheet discharge direction in which the sheet is discharged from the apparatus body. The upper device is disposed above the rotating fulcrum of the extension member and is supported to be openable by the apparatus body. The upper device in a closed state regulates a rotation of the extension member from the first position toward the second position.
SHEET DISCHARGE TRAY AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A discharge tray has a frame, a first tray, a second tray, and an angle switching member. The first tray has a sheet-discharge-direction downstream side inclined upward. The second tray is movable, along a pair of wall portions on the frame, to a first position where at least part of the second tray overlaps the first tray, a second position to which the second tray extends toward the sheet-discharge-direction downstream side, and a third position to the sheet-discharge-direction downstream side of the second position where the second tray is rotatable. As the second tray moves, the angle switching member moves. At the third position, the angle switching member rotates through a predetermined angle and is held by the wall portions. The angle switching member supports the second tray at a second inclination angle smaller than a first inclination angle when the second tray is at the second position.
Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet-discharging roller, a sheet-discharge tray, a sheet-discharge stopper, and a stopper urging portion including a contact member and an urging member. The sheet-discharge stopper has a first surface and a second surface located on a back side of the first surface and is pivotable between a non-use state in which the second surface faces upward and a use state in which the first surface faces upward. The sheet-discharge stopper is pivotable, in the use state, between a first use position and a second use position at which a distal end is lowered from the first use position. The sheet-discharge stopper is in contact with the contact member in the use state, and an area, of the sheet-discharge stopper is located below the second surface in the non-use state.
SHEET DISCHARGE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A sheet discharge apparatus includes a main tray, a discharge unit, and an expansion tray. The main tray is pivotable between a closed position and open position relative to a sheet discharge apparatus main body. The discharge unit discharges the sheet onto the main tray in the closed position. The expansion tray expands a main tray stacking area and is movable between a storage position where the expansion tray is stored in the main tray and an expansion position where the expansion tray is slid from the storage position in a sheet discharge direction and expands the stacking area. At the expansion position, the expansion tray is pivotable independently of the main tray. A direction in which the expansion tray is pivoted upward is the same as a direction in which the main tray is pivoted from the closed to the opened position.
MEDIUM TRANSPORT DEVICE AND RECORDING APPARATUS
A medium transport device includes a first transport route for discharging a medium processed by a processing unit, a second transport route for discharging the medium processed by the processing unit, and a medium receiving tray that is capable of switching a state between a medium receiving state of receiving the medium that is discharged through the first transport route and a medium unreceivable state achieved by performing state switching from the medium receiving state. The first transport route comes into a non-formed state and at least a part of the medium receiving tray forms the second transport route when the medium receiving tray is in the medium unreceivable state, and the second transport route comes into the non-formed state and the first transport route is formed when the medium receiving tray comes into the medium receiving state.
