Cowl neck barrier gown with attachments
This invention offers a fully protective cowl neck garment with various fasteners designed to attach additional protective gear, such as gloves and shoe coverings. Additionally, a temperature sensor shield is located on the hat and protective mask. This allows the clients or patients the ability to see and to monitor the temperature of their caregivers. The caregiver's temperature is visible on the hat, as well as the face mask. This makes the caregivers accountable to their clients or patients, as well as their colleagues and coworkers. This invention eliminates the worry of contact with infectious diseases or dangerous liquids, by utilizing elastic manual ties and hook-and-loop fasteners to ensure the garment is secured fully on a user's body. Overall, this invention ensures medical professionals, firemen, emergency medical personnel, government workers, and so forth, are protected fully from contagious and infectious diseases, liquids, and so forth.

Protective cuff with anti-wicking, particulate, and/or fluid entry protection
A protective cuff is fixed in a pant leg or sleeve of a protective garment. The protective cuff includes a fluid/particulate/water dam fixed around an interior circumference of a pant leg or sleeve of a protective garment at an attachment location that is spaced upwardly from a lowermost hem of the pant leg or sleeve. The dam includes a resilient opening to surround and snuggly engage another wearable piece of protective equipment or a wearer's limb received in the opening. A length of loose material extends from the attachment location to the resilient opening to surround the wearable piece of protective equipment or the wearer's limb received in the opening. An anti-wicking guard extends from the lowermost hem to the attachment location and surrounding the interior of the pant leg or sleeve.

Apparatus, Systems, and Methods for Sealing an Interface
Apparatus, systems, and methods for sealing an interface are provided. For example, a protective guard is provided for sealing an interface. The protective guard comprises a body comprising a fluid impervious material and proximal and distal segments that may comprise a superabsorbent or a non-superabsorbent material. The proximal and distal segments are positioned on first and second sides, respectively, of the interface. The protective guard extends about the interface to create a fluid barrier. In some embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be an elastic material, such as an elastic band, and in particular embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be nitrile. In further embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be an expandable material that expands upon contact or interaction with a fluid.
Apparatus, Systems, and Methods for Preventing Fluid from Entering an Interface
Apparatus, systems, and methods for preventing fluid from entering an interface are provided. For example, a strap is provided for preventing fluid from entering an interface. The strap comprises a first layer comprising an elastic material and a second layer comprising a superabsorbent material. The strap extends about or around a first material at a position at or near an interface between the first material and a second material. The interface may be an interface between a surgical gown and a surgical glove worn by a healthcare provider, and the strap may extend about the gown at a position at or near the glove. In some embodiments, the strap comprises an absorptive facing and an elastic laminate. The absorptive facing comprises a carded web containing superabsorbent fibers. Further, the absorptive facing and elastic laminate form a stretchable material having absorptive properties.
Gown-Glove Interface Reinforcement Accessory
An accessory cuff is configured to reinforce a gown-glove interface to protect a wearer from exposure to potential pathogens or contaminants through vulnerabilities in the gown-glove interface. The accessory cuff includes a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end along a longitudinal axis. The body has a lumen extending therethrough from the proximal end to the distal end, and a wall surrounding the lumen. The accessory cuff is configured to create a fluid impervious barrier to prevent fluid from entering the lumen when the accessory cuff is sealed at the proximal end and the distal end.
FISHING GARMENT
A fishing garment (1), namely for whitewater fishing, includes, on the one hand, waterproof pants (2), which include two legs (3), on the other hand, a pair of waterproof walking boots (4) and, yet on the other hand, fastening means (5) for fastening, in a tight and reversible way, the two legs (3) of the pants (2) each to one of the boots (4), in an active fastening position, yet on the other hand, immobilization means (6) for immobilizing, in a reversible way, the two legs (3) of the pants (2) each relative to one of the boots (4), in the active fastening position, and also on the other hand, means for making integral (8) for making integral these immobilizing means (6) and these walking boots (4).
Friction-sealed water immersion suit
A friction-sealed water immersion suit is described having a suit body with a neck opening, arm openings, leg openings and an entry opening. The entry opening defines an upper section and a lower section. A friction-sealed coupling is provided at the entry opening for coupling the upper section and the lower section of the suit body. The friction-sealed coupling includes a flap on one of the upper section or the lower section made of an elastomeric material and an inner flap and an outer flap on the other of the upper section or the lower section made of an elastomeric material. The friction-sealed coupling being engaged by interleaving the flap with the inner flap and the outer flap.
Bidirectional device for changing a handling glove and method for replacing said glove by translation
The invention relates to a bidirectional device for changing a handling glove from the inside towards the outside and from the outside towards the inside of a glove box under containment. The device is intended for replacing a used glove (60) with a new glove. The device comprises a cuff (6) sealingly connected to a cuff sleeve (20) and a glove (60) made of a flexible material sealingly connected to a glove sleeve (40). The glove sleeve comprises snap-fitting studs on the outside and the cuff sleeve comprises axial ramps (30). The snap-fitting studs of the glove sleeve slide in the axial ramps of the cuff sleeve until the glove sleeve is locked, forming, once assembled, a sealed assembly referred to as cuff port (10).
