Protective clothing system
A protective clothing system for protecting a user from high velocity particles and lacerating objects. The protective clothing system generally includes a clothing item having a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion of the clothing item is constructed of three to fifteen sheets of protective material to protect the front portion of the body of the user from high velocity particles and lacerating objects. The rear portion of the clothing item may have no protective material or significantly less sheets of protective material compared to the front portion to help reduce the weight of the clothing item. The joints of the clothing item corresponding to the human joints are relatively free moving to provide increased mobility to the user.
Sealing device for garments
The present inventive concept relates to a sealing device (1) for garments to sealingly connect an annular layer (3) and a wearable layer (5) to the sealing device (1). The sealing device (1) comprises an annular base (10) having an inner annular wall portion (12) and an outer annular wall portion (14), a recess (30) at least partly defined by the inner annular wall portion (12) and the outer annular wall portion (14), and an annular sealing surface (40) for circumferentially and sealingly connecting the annular layer (3) to the annular base (10). The sealing device (1) further comprises an annular sealing body (60) adapted to be locked into the recess (30) to circumferentially and sealingly connect the wearable layer (5) between the annular base (10) and the annular sealing body (60). At least one of the inner annular wall portion (12) and the outer annular wall portion (14) is provided with a plurality of sections (50, 52) in the circumferential direction, each section having a stiffness different from a stiffness of a neighboring section.

Cowl neck barrier gown with attachments
This invention offers a fully protective cowl neck garment with various fasteners designed to attach additional protective gear, such as gloves and shoe coverings. Additionally, a temperature sensor shield is located on the hat and protective mask. This allows the clients or patients the ability to see and to monitor the temperature of their caregivers. The caregiver's temperature is visible on the hat, as well as the face mask. This makes the caregivers accountable to their clients or patients, as well as their colleagues and coworkers. This invention eliminates the worry of contact with infectious diseases or dangerous liquids, by utilizing elastic manual ties and hook-and-loop fasteners to ensure the garment is secured fully on a user's body. Overall, this invention ensures medical professionals, firemen, emergency medical personnel, government workers, and so forth, are protected fully from contagious and infectious diseases, liquids, and so forth.
Sealing arrangement for a garment
The present disclosure relates to a reclosable sealing arrangement for a garment, comprising inter-connectable first tubular portion and second tubular portion for encircling a body portion of a user, a releasable connection system having a first annular connection member extending circumferentially around the first tubular portion and a second annular connection member extending circumferentially around the second tubular portion, whereby the releasable connection system is configured to interconnect said first tubular portion with said second tubular portion, and wherein the reclosable sealing arrangement further comprises a first annular seal member extending circumferentially around the first tubular portion and a second annular seal member extending circumferentially around the second tubular portion to form a fluid-tight seal configuration for the releasable connection system when said first annular connection member is inter-connected to said second annular connection member.
System and Method for Connecting Garments and Related Articles
A system and method of selectively connecting at least two articles of clothing is provided. First and second articles, which may comprise a glove and jacket sleeve or cuff, have mating geometries and at least one fastener to securely and selectively connect the two articles. In certain embodiments, magnets are provided as fasteners to connect the articles. For example, in certain embodiments, a method and system is provided that comprises features adapted to allow connection of an accessory (e.g. ski glove) to a portion of another article (e.g. jacket).
Protective overgarment
The protective overgarment is intended for use by persons who engage in potentially hazardous activities, such as motorcycling and mountaineering. The overgarment is formed of generally circumferential elements that extend around the legs, torso, and arms of the wearer. The circumferential elements are connected by a plurality of connecting elements that extend along the sides of the torso and limbs of the wearer. The elements define corresponding open ventilation passages therebetween, providing greater comfort for the wearer during warm weather. Each of the elements is formed of at least one distinct layer. One layer may be a sheet of resilient rubber or the like. Another layer may be pneumatically inflated or filled with foam plastic material. Yet another layer may also be foam-filled and covered with a stretch fabric for comfort. Additional knee, shoulder, and chest protection is provided by removable rigid plates.
PROTECTION DEVICE
The present invention provides body part protectors which comprise multiple discrete and optionally removable/replaceable shock absorbing elements. The body part protectors of this invention offer superior protection to body parts such as knees and elbows as compared to other devices and/or those devices which comprise single shock absorbing elements.
Articulated Tripartite Elbow-and-Knee-Area Protection
An articulated tripartite elbow-and-knee-area protector and method for protecting a person's elbow-and-knee areas from injury during contact and collision sporting activities, without restricting movement and without limiting the offensive and defensive uses of the elbows and knees.
Protective mantel and accessory hub
A protective mantel and accessory hub includes a primary yoke configured to be worn underneath an armor carrier. Sliding attachment points removably connect the armor carrier to the upper protector to allow for mobility and articulation. Accessories such as a throat guard and deltoid guards are removably attached to the mantel. Shoulder suspension members are inserted into the primary yoke to support and distribute the weight of the armor carrier. The armor carrier includes a magnetically attachable front accessory panel and zippered pouches on the front and back to receive and retain body armor plates.
