Fork assembly for forklifts
12030763 · 2024-07-09 ·

A fork assembly can include multiple forks configured to surround a load. Multiple attachments can be made on the forks to couple to straps for support a load. The fork assembly can further include multiple fork extensions having end attachments to couple to straps for pulling on the load. Alternatively, the fork assembly can include multiple fork lifters having blades rotatable between a non-lift position and a lift position. The fork extensions can also have blades rotatable between a non-pullable position and a pullable position. The blade rotation can be performed by a remote rotate mechanism by an operator operating the fork assembly. In some embodiments, the fork attachment assembly for a forklift or a forklift vehicle can include roller legs coupled at far ends of the fork beams or the fork extensions. The fork assembly can include roller legs coupled at far ends of the fork beams or the fork extensions. The fork assembly can include a clamping device coupled at a far end of the fork beam or the fork extension.

High visibility load clamp with asymmetrical gussets

An asymmetrical gusseted clamp assembly configured to be coupled to a lift truck and comprising a frame, two clamp jaws and two actuators. The clamp jaws each have gussets of different size to allow the two actuators to be separated vertically by a central gap, which is defined on the sides by two frame vertical beams. The central gap is of significant width so that the operator of the lift truck has a useable widow through which to view. As the configuration of the asymmetrical gusseted clamp assembly changes from open to closed, at no time is a majority of the view through the central gap obscured by the clamp jaws.

A fork-carriage apparatus for a lift truck includes: (a) a mounting frame assembly mountable to the lift truck for vertical movement; (b) a side shifter frame assembly slidably mounted to the mounting frame assembly; (c) a pivot frame assembly pivotably mounted to the side shifter frame assembly for translating therewith; (d) a fork assembly mounted to the pivot frame assembly for pivoting therewith; and (e) at least one load-pulling connector mounted to the pivot frame assembly and configured to connect a load to the fork-carriage apparatus for pulling the load.

FORK POSITIONER WITH GUIDED FORK HOLDER
20180155168 · 2018-06-07 ·

A fork positioning assembly configured for mounting to a lift truck, comprising a first fork positioner and a second fork positioner coupled to a fork frame. The first fork positioner a substantially mirror image of the second fork positioner. Each fork positioner comprises a tube with an interior cavity within which is positioned a piston and a carrier both coupled to a rod. The piston and carrier are both in sliding contact with the tube. Each fork positioner has a fork holder positioned external to the tube, the fork holder coupled to the carrier through the slot in the tube. The portion of the carrier coupled to the fork holder is between a first carrier bushing and a second carrier bushing.

Automatic guided vehicle for the handling of shuttles and/or loading units in automatic warehouses and related control method
12145827 · 2024-11-19 · ·

An automatic guided vehicle for the handling of shuttles and/or loading units in automatic warehouses. A telescopic upright integral with a vehicle frame bears a fork holder plate provided with a pair of forks and connected to the telescopic upright with an equipment. The equipment includes actuators and sensors for controlling and commanding the movements of the forks. An actuator controls the global lateral translation of the fork holder plate. A pair of actuators moves the forks closer to and away from each other. A pair of actuators rotates the fork holder plate with respect to a central axis of the equipment. The equipment also includes a pair of fork side sensors, to check the alignment of the fork holder plate to the front side of a rack and fork alignment sensors to check the alignment of the forks with respect to the lateral guides of the tunnel.

METHOD FOR OPERATING AN INDUSTRIAL TRUCK WITH AN OPERATING ELEMENT

A method for operating an industrial truck with an operating element comprising at least one operating for a vehicle function, an unlocking apparatus for the vehicle function, and a resetting apparatus configured to interact with the at least one operating lever generating a resetting force depending on a deflection of the least one operating lever. Upon an actuation of the operating lever without previously unlocking the operating lever, the resetting force acting on the at least one operating lever is changed in order to report an unsuccessful unlocking procedure.
