GARMENT AND AIR-CONDITIONED GARMENT
A garment includes a garment cloth, an opening and an absorber. The garment cloth covers at least a portion of a body of a wearer. The opening is formed in the garment cloth. The absorber is disposed around the opening on an inner side of the garment and is more absorbent than the garment cloth.
WEARABLE ARTIFICIAL GILL
An artificial gill garment (100) is provided for providing oxygen to a wearer in an underwater environment. The artificial gill garment comprises a membrane (110) configured to allow permeation of air through the membrane and prevent permeation of water through the membrane. The membrane is configured to provide an air reservoir. A method of manufacturing the artificial gill garment is also provided.
GARMENT
A garment, to which a blower device is detachably attachable, includes a main body and a heat insulation material. The main body includes at least an outer fabric having an attachment hole through which the blower device can be partially inserted. The main body is configured to cover at least a portion of a body of a wearer. The heat insulation material is attached to the main body at least on an inner side of the outer fabric. The heat insulation material is configured to cover at least a portion of the body. The garment is configured such that the heat insulation material is detachable from the main body.
System, method, and apparatus for providing cooling
An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus has a cooling fluid passage, a gaseous fluid blower disposed at an upstream portion or a downstream portion of the cooling fluid passage, and a liquid droplet sprayer disposed at the upstream portion of the cooling fluid passage. A surface portion of the cooling fluid passage is hydrophobic.
Cooling Knee Pad
A cooling knee pad includes a housing having a base, a perimeter wall extending upwardly from the base, and an upper end defining an interior volume. A pad is affixed to the upper end of the housing. A power supply is operably connected to a cooling mechanism disposed within the interior volume of the housing. The cooling mechanism may include a Peltier cooling unit including a radiator, an electric fan, a water pump, and at least one buck converter. A pair of adjustable fasteners affixed to the housing is configured to secure the housing to a user such that the pad contacts a knee of the user. In this way, the user can kneel on the pad to comfortably support the knee and cool the knee with the cooling mechanism.
COOLING APPAREL
A heat management device includes: an inner layer configured to face a body of a user, the inner layer including: a dry sublayer configured to face and touch the body; and a wet sublayer; an outer layer; and a spacer positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer, the spacer configured to maintain a channel height for passage of airflow between the inner layer and the outer layer; wherein the inner layer and the outer layer together define a flexible airflow channel configured to receive and route the airflow through the device and across the wet sublayer.
Personal Mobile Air Heater
A self-contained functional and physical architecture is described to utilize a honeycomb configuration Positive Temperature Coefficient semiconductor thermistor heater to provide breathable warm air to an individual under cold weather conditions. The high-temperature of the heater element provides substantial efficiency allowing hours long use on battery power only. The invention utilizes pulsed heater operation in combination with lengthwise air mixing to rapidly and efficiently lower the temperature of the high temperature heated air to a temperature that is breathable. The invention solves issues with visor fogging, adaptability to a wide temperature range, and adaptability to a wide range of individual exertion. This system is applicable to a wide range of cold weather work environments, cold weather sports, scientific exploration, military operations, or medical needs. Several physical embodiments are described utilizing various forms of helmets and masks.
Temperature Controlled Garment Assembly
A temperature controlled garment assembly for heating or cooling a user with moving air includes a jacket that is wearable on a user. A plurality of conduits is integrated into the jacket and each of the conduits is perforated for passing air outwardly therefrom. A housing is integrated into the jacket and a blower is positioned in the housing. The blower blows air into the plurality of conduits when the blower is turned on to blow air onto the user when the user wears the jacket. A heater is positioned in the housing to warm the user when the user wears the jacket and when the heater is turned on. A cooler is positioned in the housing to cool the user when the user wears the jacket and when the cooler is turned on.
AIR BLOWING DEVICE AND AIR-CONDITIONED CLOTHING
To provide an air blowing device that can promote the circulation of air in air-conditioned clothing. This air blowing device can be attached to air-conditioned clothing and comprises: an air blowing unit that can be disposed on the inner side of the air-conditioned clothing; a power supply unit that is integrated with the air blowing unit and that can be disposed on the outer side of the air-conditioned clothing; and a fastening part that enables air blowing unit to be fastened to the air-conditioned clothing.
System for Pump-Conditioning Garment Worn on Torso or the Like
A system pump-conditions a garment worn about a torso of an individual. A circulation array within the garment and a pump array circulate a fluid within an interior space between the garment and the torso. The pump array exerts a negative pressure on the circulation array to circulate the fluid generally from a head opening at a top portion of the garment, into the interior space, then through the circulation array, then out of the garment. The pump array exhausts the circulating fluid down and away from the torso. The moving circulating fluid draws heat and humidity from within the garment and directs same away from such individual to cool and comfort same. The moving circulating fluid also draws a cooling and comforting breeze about the head of the individual.
