Heat Transfer Vest with Hook and Loop Securement
A heat transfer system that may be used to absorb heat from a human user. A wearable vest is provided. The innermost surface of the vest is covered in hook-compatible material. One or more thermal transfer packs are configured to be attached to the vest. One or more hook panels on each thermal transfer pack is used to stick the thermal transfer pack directly to the innermost surface of the vest.
ELECTRIC-HEATING ASSEMBLY FOR CLOTHING
An electric-heating assembly adapted to be attached to an article of clothing including: a power supply module, a heating module, and an electric-conductive module. The electric-conductive module is electrically connected between the power supply module and heating module for transmitting electricity from the power supply module to the heating module. The electric-conductive module defining a first inlet terminal and a first outlet terminal is formed by fixing at least one pair of conductive wires on an elastic strip in a stretchable manner, and the conductive wires of the same pair respectively allowing electricity to flow in and out to form a closed circuit with other electrical elements are arranged together to be attached to the elastic strip simultaneously and extend in the same pattern. The electric-heating assembly is controlled by an operable controller to turn on or off.
ARTICLE OF APPAREL
An article of apparel is described which is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, the article of apparel includes a base textile with a thermal regulation membrane. The thermal regulation membrane contains a plurality of system-reactive components selectively engaged heat and/or moisture. In an embodiment, the printed coating includes a cooling agent, a phase change material, and a heat dissipation material. In operation, the article of apparel is effective to delay/diminish the rise in skin temperature (compared to a garment lacking the membrane), increasing wearer comfort.
Article of apparel
An article of apparel is formed that is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, a thermal regulation composition is applied to a surface of a textile substrate at a first temperature and a first pressure to form a thermal regulation membrane disposed on the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate with the thermal regulation membrane is compressed at a second pressure and a second temperature to position a portion of the thermal regulation membrane below the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate is incorporated into an article of apparel. The thermal regulation composition can include one or more system reactive components provided within a binder, where a system reactive components can include a cooling agent, a latent heat agent and/or a heat dissipation agent.
COOLING AND DRINKING VEST
A dual-function vest for keeping the body cool and providing cool drinking water. The vest has multiple ice pockets dispersed throughout an area of the vest. The ice pockets are fluidly interconnected to each through fluid channels, wherein water can flow between the multiple ice pockets. A port can be provided in the vest to provide access to an inner volume of the vest. Water can be filled into the multiple ice pockets through the port and also water can be drawn through the port. A long tube can be connected to the port while the free end of the long tube can act as a drinking spout.
Lower leg sleeve
The present invention is an improved leg sleeve that is designed by utilizing wicking fabric for cooling and protecting a user's legs from UV rays. In particular, the invention allows a user to participate in physical activities such as sports and keep moisture and direct sun rays away from the skin, thus keeping extremities cool. The proposed embodiment provides a unique experience for those individuals who wish to protect their bodies from dangerous heat while remaining active.
Methods and apparatuses for manipulating temperature
Methods and apparatuses for manipulating the temperature of a surface are provided. Devices of the present disclosure may include a thermal adjustment apparatus, such as a controller in electrical communication with one or more thermoelectric materials, placed adjacent to the surface of skin. The device may generate a series of thermal pulses at the surface, for providing an enhanced thermal sensation for a user. The thermal pulses may be characterized by temperature reversibility, where each pulse includes an initial temperature adjustment, followed by a return temperature adjustment, over a short period of time (e.g., less than 120 seconds). The average rate of temperature change upon initiation and upon return may be between about 0.1° C./sec and about 10.0° C./sec. In some cases, the average rate of the initial temperature adjustment is greater in magnitude than the average rate of the return temperature adjustment.
Apparatus and method for powering a garment
A lawn mower or stand-on powered drivable machine has an electrical port that receives current from an alternator powered by the engine or motor. The port receives a plug from a garment worn by the lawn mower operator. The garment includes one or more thermo-electric elements that are powered from current extending through the port. The thermo-electric (TEC) elements may be resistive heaters to warm the operator or TEC coolers to cool the operator. Furthermore, the garment may include a rechargeable battery that powers the thermo-electric elements when the plug is disconnected from the port.
