GARMENT STRUCTURE HAVING ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR ABUTTING AT LEAST ONE PAD UNIT FIRMLY AGAINST SKIN TO PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE OF ELECTROTHERAPY AND HEAT THERAPY
A garment structure having an adjustment mechanism for abutting at least one pad unit against a human body includes a garment body, at least one adjustment belt, and at least one pad unit being an electrode pad unit, a heating pad unit, or an electrode pad unit with a heating unit. The adjustment belt has one end connected to the garment body, and another end fixed to an outer surface of the garment body. When the adjustment belt is pulled tight, the garment body is dragged to move toward the skin. The pad unit is disposed on the garment body, and moves, along with a portion of the garment body being dragged, to abut against the skin. A user wearing the garment structure can pull and secure the adjustment belt to enable the pad unit to easily and quickly abut against the skin to proceed with electrotherapy and/or heat therapy.
Sports garment
A sports garment having a section covering the upper part of the body of a wearer during intended use of the garment, wherein a climate zone is arranged in the region covering each axillary area of the wearer during intended use. To improve the cooling of the axillary area efficiently, the climate zone has a plurality of fins which are arranged parallel to another and which are contacting the skin of the wearer during intended use of the garment, wherein the fins are extending along a defined height over a base material of the garment, wherein the fins are arranged in such a manner that the envelope of all fins has a kite-shape or rhomb-shape seen in the direction perpendicular onto the base material of the garment.
Clothing body for air-conditioned clothing and air-conditioned clothing
A clothing body of air-conditioned clothing includes a cloth part and a swell-controlling mechanism. The cloth part includes at least one opening hole to which a fan is attachable, and an air discharge part. The swell-controlling mechanism is provided on the cloth part at a position almost the same as the opening hole in a height direction of the cloth part. The swell-controlling mechanism controls swell of the cloth part around the opening hole and, when the clothing body is worn with the fan being attached to the opening hole, causes the fan to adhere to a wearer's body.
Cooling garment cooling device and cooling garment having the same mounted thereto
A cooling garment cooling device includes: a water delivery hose with a cooling water supply portion and cooling water branch portion; a pump supplying cooling water from the cooling water supply portion toward the cooling water branch portion; and plural branched water hoses having a first end-side water supply portion and second end-side water supply portion coupled to the cooling water branch portion. A portion of the branched water hoses between the first end-side water supply portion and second end-side water supply portion serves as a water outlet portion. Each branched water hose diameter is smaller than the water delivery hose diameter. The outer peripheral portion of the water outlet portion of each branched water hose orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the branched water hose has plural water passage holes with opening areas smaller than those of the first end-side water supply portion and second end-side water supply portion.
HEATING AND COOLING TECHNOLOGIES
A heating and cooling device is disclosed comprising at least one integral low voltage heating and cooling source and an efficient flexible heat distribution means having a thermal conductivity of from 375 to 4000 W/mK for distributing the heat and cool across a surface. Further aspects include thermal interface compounds to provide full thermal contact as well as the use of a phase change material to provide a long lasting heating and/or cooling effect without the use of external electrical input. Preferred applications include automotive and furniture seating heating and cooling, along with outdoor garments having distributed heating and cooling effects.

PORTABLE BODY COOLING APPARATUS, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Portable body cooling apparatus, particularly wearable on subjects, the apparatus comprises a channeled assembly including a coupled pair of channels longitudinally extending adjacent to each other, and wearable along outer contour of a subject's body part. The apparatus also comprises a forced air flow assembly connected to channeled assembly, for generating and driving forced flow of air into and through channeled assembly and facilitate indirect evaporation of liquid inside the channeled assembly, so as to produce forced flow of cool air exiting from channeled assembly and directed onto the subject, thereby cooling the subject. Also disclosed is a corresponding method of cooling a subject.
MEDICAL HEATED FACE MASK
A heated medical face mask is provided, including, a first outer layer having an outer surface and an inner surface; a second, inner layer having an outer surface and in inner surface; the first and second layers being fastened together around corresponding peripheral side and bottom edges but being open along an upper edge or side edge to form a pocket; and a heating element being releasably located in the pocket.
Article of Apparel
An article of apparel is formed that is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, a thermal regulation composition is obtained comprising a binder, a cooling agent, a latent heat agent, and a heat dissipation agent. The thermal regulation composition is printed to a surface of a textile by pressing the thermal regulation composition against the textile surface such that the binder adheres the cooling agent, latent heat agent, and the heat dissipation agent to the surface of the textile, thereby forming a thermal regulation membrane, and the textile is incorporated into an article of apparel.
DERMAL HEATSINK EXHIBITING HYDROPHILIC AND CONTAMINANT RESISTANT PROPERTIES AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING A DERMAL HEATSINK
One variation of a method for fabricating a dermal heatsink includes: fabricating a substrate defining an interior surface, an exterior surface opposite the interior surface, and an open network of pores extending between the interior surface and the exterior surface; activating surfaces of the substrate and walls of the open network of pores; applying a coating over the substrate to form a heatsink, the coating comprising a porous, hydrophilic material and defining a void network; removing an excess of the coating from the substrate to clear blockages within the open network of pores by the coating; hydrating the heatsink during a curing period; heating the heatsink during the curing period to increase porosity of the coating applied over surfaces of the substrate; and rinsing the heatsink with an acid to decarbonate the coating along walls of the open network of pores in the substrate.
