Apparatus and method for powering a garment
A lawn mower has an electrical port that receives current from an alternator powered by the lawn mower engine. The current and voltage sent the electrical port depend on a flywheel and stator arrangement operatively connected to the alternator. The stator may be replaceable or interchangeable to selectively determine the alternator current and voltage output. The port receives a plug from a garment worn by the lawn mower operator. The garment includes one or more thermo-electric elements that are powered from current extending through the port. The thermo-electric elements may be resistive heaters to warm the operator or TEC coolers to cool the operator. Furthermore, the garment may include a rechargeable battery that powers the thermo-electric elements when the plug is disconnected from the port.
Electrically conductive PTC ink with double switching temperatures
A positive temperature coefficient (PTC) composition having a first thermally active polymer having a melting point of 30-70° C. and providing a first PTC in a lower temperature range below 70° C., and a second thermally active polymer having a melting point of 70-140° C. and providing a second PTC in a higher temperature range above 70° C., the composition also having conductive particles; and an organic solvent with a boiling point higher than 100° C., solvent being capable of dissolving both the first and second thermally active polymer. The PTC composition has two distinct PTC characteristics at the two different temperature ranges.
Personal Cooling Device
The present invention provides a portable system for cooling that is integrated into a wearable garment or carrying device. The device includes a Peltier thermoelectric cooler coupled to the garment. The thermoelectric cooler comprises a cold side plate and a hot side plate. The cold side plate is oriented proximate to the body of the wearer. The cooling device further comprises a thermal shield. The thermal shield comprises a thermally reflective surface that faces the wearer side of the garment. The device comprises a thermal conduction sheet coupled to the cold side of the thermoelectric cooler. The device further comprises a cold pack thermally coupled to a side of the thermal conduction sheet. The device comprises a blower configured to blow air across the hot side of the thermoelectric cooler and away from the garment.
GARMENT WITH MASSAGING VIBRATING DEVISE MECHANISM
Disclosed is a wearable apparatus and method that provides the benefits of a Portable Massager, Exerciser & Circulation Machine for strengthening, rejuvenating all areas of the body from neck to ankles. The invention is the combination of garments interconnecting with massaging devises, creating a Full Body Massage Mechanism that enhances health, fitness and wellness. The Garments are equipped with varying Massage Types and Intensity, including Heating Therapy, Air Compression, Bi-Directional Rolling/Kneading apparatus, and mini vibrators/massagers embedded in strategic parts of the Garments, to provide the maximum effect to the various Pressure Points of the user's body. The Deep Penetration Jacket is the foundations for Deep Kneading, Rolling, and Percussion Massages. Benefits to the users of the invented, are relief from aches and pains, muscle cramps, stress, stimulation of circulation, assisting in the improvement and regeneration of some conditions, includes aiding in the betterment of other physical limitations.
