LIQUID DISPENSING FAUCET WITH PULL-TO-OPEN VALVE ELEMENT
20170253472 · 2017-09-07 · ·

A faucet for dispensing beverages includes a valve element that is selectively moved from its seated position to its unseated position by manual linear movement of a handle in a first direction from a retracted position toward an extended position. Movement of the handle in the first direction induces movement of the valve element in the first direction. A shaft projects through the handle and an outer end of the shaft provides a reaction structure or button that is engaged by a thumb of a user during movement of the handle from its retracted position toward its extended position. When in its extended position, the handle can be rotated to a lock-open position where interference between the handle and the faucet body prevents movement of the handle from its extended position to its retracted position whereby the faucet is maintained in an opened condition for continuous dispensing of liquid.

BEVERAGE DISPENSING ASSEMBLY AND TAP

Dispensing assembly (10) comprising a container (1), containing a pressurized beverage, connected to or provided with a dispense assembly, wherein the dispense assembly comprises an outlet channel (12) closable by a valve body (16) and a chamber (14) between the container (1) and the valve body (16), which chamber (14) is at least partly closed by a movable and/or deformable wall part (28) connected to the valve body (16) or a valve seat, such that pressurized beverage from the container filling the chamber forces the wall part (28), into a position biasing the valve body (16) or the valve seat in a position closing the outlet channel (12) and by pushing the wall part the valve body (16) or the valve seat can be forced into a position opening the outlet channel (12), wherein preferably at least during use there is an open connection between said chamber (14) and a beverage compartment of the container (1).

DISPENSING ASSEMBLY AND CONTAINER WITH TAP

Dispensing assembly (10) for beverage from a container (1), comprising an outlet channel (8) for beverage and a valve body (16) operable to open and close said outlet channel (8), wherein the channel defines a direction of flow of the beverage towards an outlet end (13), and wherein the valve body (16) is provided at or near the outlet end (13) of the outlet channel (8) and has a shape with a base (21) facing in a direction against the direction of flow and a tip (22) with an end facing in the direction of flow, wherein the tip, between the base and the end, has an outwardly curved outer surface (24), such that beverage engaging the base (21) can be guided from the base over the outer surface (24) to the end forming a beverage jet when leaving the surface at or near said end.

A reusable Siphon Head which has a helical threaded opening that allows to install it on standard beverage bottles. The Siphon Head enables to dispense carbonated beverages multiple times from the same beverage bottle with minimal loss of gas pressure. The Siphon Head has a screw based valve which enables to achieve gradual and smooth control of beverage outflow and also to apply high blocking pressure with only small manual effort. The Siphon head has a simple structure with minimal number of parts which is suitable for inexpensive plastics mass production and assembly. The Siphon Head does not have any metallic parts. The high pressure blocking allows for long term beverage storage with minimal pressure loss.

Tap for dispensing either a first or a second liquid

Tap (1) for dispensing a first liquid and/or a second liquid, the tap comprising: a first inlet (11a) and a second inlet (11): a first outlet (12a) and a second outlet (12b): a handle (10) adapted to rotate around a centre point (100) so as to be placed alternatively in: a first open position corresponding to a rotation of the handle (10) of a first angle (a1) with respect to a vertical reference axis (101) passing through said centre point, or in: a closed position corresponding to a rotation of the handle (10) of a second angle (a2) with respect to said reference axis (101), or in: a second open position corresponding to a rotation of the handle (10) of a third angle (a3) with respect to said reference axis (101), wherein said first liquid flows through the first inlet (11a) and the first outlet (12a) when the handle is at its first open position, through the second inlet (lib) and second outlet (12b) when the handle is at is second open position and wherein both first and second liquids are prevented from flowing when the handle is at its closed position, and wherein the tap comprises a distribution unit, said distribution unit being arranged so as to allow said handle to spontaneously reach said closed position in absence of external action.
