Water treatment system with retrievable mounting frame assembly for diffusors
A water treatment system for aeration of water in a treatment tank includes at least one bridge extending above an upper surface of the water in the tank; a retrievable mounting frame assembly, including a frame, a plurality of aeration elements, a plurality of mounting brackets to secure the aeration elements to the frame, a control arm having secured to the frame at the first end, and a first air distribution conduit coupled to the aeration elements for supplying an air flow to the aeration elements; at least one guide rail system secured to the bridge assembly and extending to the floor of the tank, the guide rail system having at least one or multiple parallel guide rails, a second air distribution conduit coupled to the first air distribution conduit, and an actuatable push-rod positioned between the guide rails and connected to the control arm's second end. The hold-down rod, when actuated, moves the mounting frame assembly along the guide rails from a first position above the upper surface of the water and into a second position on the floor of the tank for aeration of the water. A transport device and a transferrable lifting crane for positioning the frame assembly are moveable along the length of the bridge along guide tracks provided in the bridge.
Mixing systems and methods of mixing
A system for mixing and mixing processes and structures are disclosed. In addition a nozzle used for mixing is disclosed.
Microbubble generation device
A microbubble generation device comprises a liquid inlet (101), a gas inlet (104), a bubble flow outlet (103), and a gas-liquid mixing chamber (102). An air-permeable hole having an angle structure is provided at a gas-liquid interface of the gas-liquid mixing chamber (102), and a pointed end of the angle structure of the air-permeable hole points to a liquid flow direction. The bubbles generated by the device are extremely small in diameter, prolonging a duration the bubbles stay in the liquid phase, and enhancing gas-liquid mass transfer efficiency.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING NANO- AND MICROBUBBLES
A fine bubbles generation system for converting gas into fine bubbles in liquid is disclosed. The system comprises a reactor vessel comprising gas input means (2), liquid input means (8), liquid output means, and agitation (7) and mechanical interaction means (11) arranged for providing fine bubble-laden liquid in a two-step process. A fine bubbles generation method for converting gas into fine bubbles in liquid is also disclosed.
MIXING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MIXING
A system for mixing and mixing processes and structures are disclosed. In addition a nozzle used for mixing is disclosed.
MODULAR DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR INFUSING GAS INTO A LIQUID AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE THEREOF
The present invention provides modular devices and systems for infusing gas into a liquid and methods of manufacture and use thereof. In accordance with an embodiment, a modular device for infusing gas into a liquid is provided. The modular device comprises a plurality of microporous hollow fibers, and a cap covering open ends of the microporous hollow fibers. The cap is configured to receive a gas into an opening and to deliver the gas into the open ends of the microporous hollow fibers. The cap is further configured to removably mount the modular device to a fixture. A system for infusing gas into a liquid may include one or more of the modular gas infusion devices configured to be removably mounted to a fixture such that the microporous hollow fibers are within a hollow cavity. The hollow cavity includes a first opening configured to receive a liquid and a second opening configured to discharge the liquid infused with a gas. Because the system is modular, it is economical to manufacture, scale to different application requirements and to maintain.
AERATION SYSTEM WITH FLEXIBLE HOSE COUPLINGS
Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems and methods for water aeration in a tank or other body of water that a specialized coupling assembly and flexible hose connectors rather than the commonly used rigid connector elements. The coupling assembly and flexible hose connectors utilized in the aeration grid system provide a more cost effective and flexible system that allows almost limitless configurations of the diffuser elements, depending on the intended application. Further, the coupling assembly and flexible hose connectors enable use with a wide variety of air supply pipe diameters without the necessity of providing a fitting or adapter for each pipe opening. The capability of the aeration system to be readily adapted to different sizes of treatment tanks or ponds, for example, allows the installation and use of a more flexible, prefabricated, or modular, and ultimately more efficient aeration system.
DIFFUSER FOR AERATION OF A FLUID
An elongate diffuser (10) comprises a diffuser body (30), and a membrane (20) attached so that introduction of gas at a working pressure into the diffuser displaces part of the membrane (20) from contact with the diffuser body (10) providing an elongate sealed compartment (50) between the membrane (20) and a surface (32) of the diffuser body (30). The gas can pass from the compartment (50) through the membrane (20) for aeration of fluid in which the diffuser (10) is immersed. The diffuser body surface (32) which bounds the compartment (50) is recessed away from the membrane (20) in use, to contribute to the lateral cross sectional area of the compartment (50) and facilitate distribution of gas along the diffuser by the compartment (50). An automatic purge valve for purging water from a gas feed pipe of a diffuser is also disclosed.
