WAISTBAND WITH SLIMMING EFFECT
According to one aspect of the present invention disclosed herein, there is provided a garment, comprising: a garment body; and a waistband, wherein the waistband is configured to separate the top edge of the waistband circumferentially from the skin of the wearer to create an appearance the wearer is thinner. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of creating an appearance the wearer of a garment is thinner, comprising separating the top edge of the waistband of the garment circumferentially by positioning an insert in between layers of fabric at the inner aspect of the waistband.
AN AIRBAG
An airbag configured to be inflated by a source of gas, the airbag being formed from first and second layers of fabric arranged in superimposition to define an inflatable chamber between the layers for the receipt of inflating gas. Each layer of fabric has a structure (e.g. a weave) comprising at least one yarn, and the two layers are interconnected by at least one tether yarn extending between the layers within the inflatable chamber. The or each tether yarn is implicated in the structure of the first layer at a plurality of first connection regions, and is implicated in the structure of the second layer at a plurality of second connection regions. Each said first connection region is wider in a length-direction of the, or each, tether yarn than each said second connection region, and said second connection regions are offset relative to said first connection regions.
Wearable bottom garment for preventing hip dislocation
A wearable bottom garment for preventing hip dislocation includes a first strap extending from the upper side of the left hip joint to the lower side of the right hip joint, and a second strap extending from the upper side of the right hip joint to the lower side of the left hip joint, wherein the first strap presses the upper side of the left hip joint from top to bottom, and presses the lower side of the right hip joint from bottom to top, and the second strap presses the upper side of the right hip joint from top to bottom, and presses the lower side of the left hip joint from bottom to top.
ATHLETIC SHORTS AND JERSEY
Athletic shorts include a front fabric panel formed of a first type of fabric and configured to cover a portion of a front side of a wearer. The athletic shorts also include a back fabric panel formed of a second type of fabric and joined to the front fabric panel and configured to cover a portion of the back side of the wearer. The back fabric panel has a greater area than the front fabric panel. The second type of fabric is different from the first type of fabric. The front fabric panel as a first length in a longitudinal direction defined relative to the athletic shorts. The back fabric panel has a second length in the longitudinal direction. The first length is less than the second length.
Chest protector
A chest protector may include shoulder portions to extend over shoulders of a sport participant wearing the chest protector, a padded chest portion to extend over the chest of a sport participant wearing the chest protector, a padded torso portion and a pliable shaper extending across the padded torso portion.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING SYSTEM
A protective clothing system includes clothing configured to be worn by a user. A polyethylene foam is attached to the clothing. The polyethylene foam is positioned on the clothing to protect a portion of the user's body from impacts due to a fall.
Apparatus and method for protection of body areas upon impact
The subject disclosure is directed to a new and useful apparatus for protecting a user. The apparatus has an elongated belt dimensioned and configured to be worn about the waist of a user. The apparatus has at least one inflatable/deflatable airbag supported on the belt. The apparatus has an inflate/deflate pump supported on the belt which communicates with the at least one inflatable/deflatable airbag for inflating the at least one inflatable/deflatable airbag upon receiving an activation signal.
ELASTIC SUPPORT DEVICE AND WAIST PROTECTOR INCLUDING THE SAME
An elastic support device configured to be disposed on a waist protector is provided, wherein the elastic support device includes: a main body defining a first direction and a second direction which are transverse to each other, the waist protector extending in the first direction, the main body including a plurality of V-shaped elastic members, each of the plurality of V-shaped elastic members including a connection portion and two ribs extending from the connection portion, in the first direction the ribs of neighboring two of the plurality of V-shaped elastic members being connected to each other, in the second direction the connection portions of neighboring two of the plurality of V-shaped elastic members being connected to each other, the main body being elastically restorable.
Wearable protection device
The present disclosure relates to protection devices. In particular, the present disclosure relates to protection devices that can be worn on the human body. Further in particular, the present disclosure relates to wearable protection devices that inflate to prevent injury of the human body in case of an accident, e.g., a fall accident. Accordingly, there is provided a wearable protection device for protection of at least a body part of a wearer, comprising an inflatable element arranged adjacent to a body part to be protected, wherein the inflatable element is inflatable from a first, substantially uninflated condition to a second, substantially inflated condition, by application of a releasable source of a gas to the inflatable element, for at least partially filling of the inflatable element with said gas.
PROTECTIVE ARTICLES HAVING A PLURALITY OF CORE MEMBERS
A protective guard for reducing injury to a shin of a person includes a conformable substrate and a plurality of core members disposed adjacent to a surface of the conformable substrate. The plurality of core members are arranged such that a first of the core members is rotationally movable about at least one axis relative to a second of the core members. A flexible fabric membrane comprised of natural or synthetic fibers is positioned adjacent to at least one of the conformable substrate and the plurality of core members.
