Protective Shapewear Device
The present invention relates to a novel padded shapewear garment device. The device comprises a pair of padded pants. The pants are preferably relaxed-fit pants made from a flexible fabric material. The device comprises contoured padding built into the lining of the pants. Typically, the padding is positioned on the buttocks and hip areas of the pants. The padding also offers shaping or shapewear benefits to the user and may encircle the entire hip area. Further, one embodiment of the device comprises a pair of padded pants with side pockets.
ANATOMICAL PROTECTIVE ITEMS
Disclosed herein are methods, apparatus and computer program products for use in manufacturing an anatomical protective item for one or more users. Embodiments of anatomical protective items may comprise a single layer of energy controlling cells. Input data associated with one or more users is obtained. The obtained input data is processed to identify one or more energy controlling criteria for the anatomical protective item. A packing process is employed to generate each energy controlling cell in the single layer. Each energy controlling cell comprises one or more walls which extend from an upper surface of the single layer to a lower surface of the single layer. The packing process is performed at least on the basis of the identified one or more energy controlling criteria. The anatomical protective item comprising the single layer of energy controlling cells is manufactured.
AIRBAG INCLUDING VENT HOLE
The present disclosure relates to an airbag including a vent hole. The airbag including a vent hole, according to the present disclosure, comprises: a protection means (100) mounted on a predetermined part of a user, and inflated when gas is injected therein, thereby protecting the user; a body part (200) inserted into the vent hole (150), which is formed in the protection means (100), so as to enable fluid to flow through the inner and outer sides of the protection means (100); an elastic body (300) closing the body part (200), and inflated by the pressure of the gas inside the protection means (100) when the gas is injected into the protection means (100); and an opening and closing means (400), which opens the body part (200) by tearing the inflated elastic body (300) after the user falls, so as to discharge, to the outside, the gas injected into the protection means (100).
Elastic unit with adjustable elasticity and elastic modulus and operation method thereof
The present disclosure relates to an elastic unit with adjustable elasticity and elastic modulus and to an operation method thereof. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an elastic unit with adjustable elasticity and elastic modulus, which comprises: an elastic element having a plurality of division areas longitudinally; and elasticity adjustment modules that are laid out in each of the division areas of the elastic element and activate or inactivate the elastic element partially depending on the division areas to adjust an elasticity and an elastic modulus of the elastic element.
Wearable airbag device
A wearable airbag device for protecting the hip of a wearer includes an airbag adapted to be worn around the pelvis and inflatable with an inflation gas. The airbag includes: an inner wall configured to face the wearer at airbag deployment; an outer wall opposite the inner wall and having a circumferential edge jointed with that of the inner wall so that the airbag has a substantially board shape when inflated; a contact portion disposed in an upper reach of a stream of inflation gas and configured to be deployed at a side of the pelvis; a protecting portion configured to be deployed in such a manner as to extend downward from the contact portion for covering an outer side of the trochanter of femur at airbag deployment; and a float-preventing means for preventing the protecting portion from floating away from the body of the wearer at airbag deployment.
Joint Cushioning System
A joint cushioning system includes a pad of a foam material which is resiliently compressible. The pad has an outer surface, an inner surface, an upper edge, a lower edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A magnetorheological fluid impregnates the foamed material. The magnetorheological fluid is configured to be alternated between a first state wherein the foamed material is bendable and compressible and a second state wherein the magnetorheological fluid forms rigid columns within the foamed material such that the foamed material is less bendable and compressible. An actuating system is mounted on the pad and is in operational communication with magnetorheological fluid. The actuating system actuates the magnetorheological fluid from the first state to the second state when a condition has been met.
Pad and fabric arrangement and method of making the same
A pad arrangement comprises a layer of fabric with a pad connected to the layer of fabric. The pad includes a plurality of energy absorbing structures. Each of the plurality of energy absorbing structures includes an outer surface connected to the layer of fabric. Each of the outer surfaces is spaced apart from other outer surfaces on the pad. A plurality of buttresses extend between the energy absorbing structures, each of the plurality of buttresses extending downwardly and away from the outer surface of one or more of the energy absorbing structures.
Body protective padding with non-bursting gas cells
Body protection padding with non-bursting gas cells preferably includes at least one base shell, an inside gas cell impact layer and an outside gas cell impact layer. The gas is preferably air, but could be any other suitable gas, such as pure nitrogen or argon. Body protection padding includes shoulder-chest pads, knee pads, hip pads, thigh pads and any other type of sports protective padding. The gas cells in the inside and outside gas cell impact layers do not burst upon impact. The at least one base shell is typically used in the body protection padding. Each gas cell layer includes a plurality of gas cells created between two plastic sheets. The inside and outside gas cell impact layers may be permanently or removably attached.
Apparel with reduced friction zones
An article of apparel may include a base layer and a cover layer. The cover layer may be stitchlessly-secured to an exterior surface of the base layer and positioned to extend along a side area and from a pelvic region to a leg region of the base layer. A width of the cover layer may be greater in the pelvic region than the first leg region. In some configurations, a frictional resistance of the exterior surface of the base layer may be greater than a frictional resistance of a surface of the cover layer.
Protective underwear combination with front fly access
Underwear (1) and protective cup (2) combination with front fly access (7). Designed to protect the genital area and function in a normal manner as a regular pair of underwear would while urination with convenience and comfort. Protective underwear (1) with right side front fly access (7). Only one straight fly opening allows the wearer to urinate without removing the protective cup (2). Cup does not obscure the fly opening (7). Elastic waistband (8) allows easy insertion or removal of cup from the top of opening (9) created by the front fly access panel (10). Fabric between the skin and cup (2) keeps skin dry and sanitary while keeping the cup securely in place. Protective underwear (1) allows any size cup to be used. There are no straps to twist, no snaps to rust or irritate the skin, no buttons to break or lose. Made from cotton or cotton blend fabric makes protective underwear washable and dryable.
