WEARABLE PROTECTION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a wearable protection device (10 comprising:—a protective helmet (12), provided with at least one first inflatable chamber (14); said at least one first inflatable chamber (14) being suitable for moving between a rest condition, wherein it is in a deflated status, and an operating condition, wherein it is in an inflated status;—a wearable element (16) comprising an inflator unit (18) and an activation system (20); the activation system (20) being designed to trigger the inflator unit (18) if a danger situation for the user of the wearable protection device (10) is identified. According to the invention, the wearable element (16) comprises at least one second inflatable chamber (26) suitable for moving between a rest condition, wherein it is in a deflated status, and an operating condition, wherein it is in an inflated status. The inflator unit (18) is connected to said at least one first inflatable chamber (14) and/or to said at least one second inflatable chamber (26). The inflator unit (18) is designed to inflate said at least one first inflatable chamber (14) and/or said at least one second inflatable chamber (26) so as to move said at least one first inflatable chamber (14) and/or said at least one second inflatable chamber (26) in the operating condition when a danger situation for the user of the wearable protection device (10) is identified by the activation system (20).
Shirt with Padded Upper Torso
A shirt incorporating a padded torso section formed with padding sewn onto an interior layer of an encompassing shell which in turn is sewn onto the exterior layer of the shell. Additional stitching passing through the padding and the interior and exterior layers of the shell can form a pleasing geometric pattern. The padded torso section provides comfort to the caregiver and to the infant resting on the torso of the caregiver. The padding can be secured to the interior shell member in a detachable manner to permit the removal of the padding from the upper torso section of the shirt. The shirt can be constructed as a nursing shirt, utilizing various forms of fasteners, and having an overlapping cover secured to the torso section to be used as a privacy cover.
Helmet with integrated shoulder pad
A helmet body includes an outer shell having an inner surface, an outer surface, and an outer shell lower edge extending between the inner surface and the outer surface, the outer shell further comprising at least two shoulder pad recesses positioned at a lower edge of the outer shell on a respective left and right sides of the helmet; and an energy management liner adjacent to the inner surface of the outer shell and comprising at least two shoulder pads formed of a foamed energy management material, each of the at least two shoulder pads received into one of the at least two shoulder pad recesses on the respective left or right side of the helmet.
METHOD OF SUPPORTING THE NECK OF A USER
In one embodiment, a method of supporting the neck of a user when the user is laying on his or her back includes: obtaining a neck support device including first and second leg attachment portions, a head cradle, and a first coupling portion attaching the first leg attachment portion to the head cradle and a second coupling portion attaching the second leg attachment portion to the head cradle; attaching the first leg attachment portion to the first leg or foot of the user; attaching the second leg attachment portion to the second leg or foot of the user; and arranging the head cradle on a back portion of a user's head such that the user's head is held in tension.
Protective garments incorporating impact resistant structures
A protective garment comprising multi-layered composite structures is conformable to the contours of the body parts for which protection is required. The composite structure contains rigid impact-deflecting outer structures, impact-dissipating gel middle layers, and impact-damping microlattice lower layers. In one embodiment, the structure is designed for impacts associated with contact sports, such as football, hockey and lacrosse. In another embodiment, the structure is designed for military/police applications, in which impacts can be blunt forces, from weapons such as clubs, or penetrative forces, from knives, bullets or shrapnel.

A wearable airbag device (100) comprising at least one inflatable bag (10) including a first side (12) and a second side (14) defining a gas inflatable volume (V) therebetween. The at least one inflatable bag (10) comprises a plurality of airflow passages (40) defined between said first side (12) and second side (14).
ATHLETIC COLLAR
A device includes a collar and at least one pad. The collar is configured for wearing by a user, the collar having a plurality of pad receptacles. The at least one pad is configured for coupling with a selected one of the plurality of pad receptacles, the pad having an elastic portion configured to limit movement of a user.
Protective Garment for the Face, Neck and Upper Body
An integrated face, neck, and upper body covering. The covering is made from a vertical tube of fabric having a slit in the rear. The slit allows the lower portion of the tube to spread outward—thereby providing an effective covering for the chest in addition to the neck. Various embodiments are disclosed. Some of these embodiments provide covering for the shoulders and upper back as well.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Protective equipment used in a wide range of sports occupations and other activities and occupations to prevent concussions and other injuries that may absorb shock or force brought on by the kinetic energy from flying objects such as a ball, bat or other moving object. Such protective equipment assembly comprising a wearable assembly and a facemask. The wearable assembly may comprise a chest panel and a pair of shoulder anchors. A chest attachment mechanism may be provided on the chest panel and a shoulder attachment mechanism may be provided on the shoulder anchors. The facemask may be secured to the wearable assembly via the chest attachment mechanism and the shoulder attachment mechanism such that the facemask is not in contact with a neck or a head of a user.
Torso Protection Apparatus
A torso protection apparatus with a shoulder harness, a shoulder and sleeve assembly, a midsection assembly, a plurality of protective pads, and a back including a plurality of pad housings. The plurality of pad housings includes a stretchable opening and is structured to removably accommodate the plurality of protective pads therein.
