The bullet/penetration resistant vest is dimensioned to removably fit within the carrying bag. The carrying bags are configured to provide a “ready state” wherein a bullet resistant shield and neck sling are within the carrying bag while at least a connector attached to the end of a deployable torso strap(s) is outside of the carrying bag. The carrying bag has at least one slot designed to allow the torso strap(s) to be pre-fed from the interior of the carrying bag to a position exterior of the carrying bag. In this “ready state”, the majority of the torso strap is maintained within the interior of the carrying bag. The neck sling and torso straps are deployable to secure the vest to a wearer's torso in the deployed position.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EQUIPMENT FOR PROTECTING THE HUMAN BODY BY ABSORBING AND DISSIPATING FORCES IMPARTED TO THE BODY
The disclosed apparatus, system and method includes at least a protective garment that prevents concussive effects on internal organs. The garment many include a garment body; and, embedded in the garment body, at least one multi-sectional pad. At least two of the multi-sections may comprise: at least one aramid layer; at least one multi-durometer foam layer having a substantially similar surface area to that provided by the at least one aramid layer; and at least one shield layer.
Load bearing harness
Load carriage systems are described including one or more of a first chest panel, a first back panel, and a self-adjusting cummerbund connecting the first chest panel and the first back panel. The self-adjusting cummerbund may include a tensioning mechanism configured to allow the cummerbund to extend and retract, and may be configured to provide varying resistive force. The tensioning mechanism may include one or more of a sliding portion, a continuous patterned length of material that is folded over itself, and an elastic member that is attached to the sliding member and the length of material. Body armor plates may be held between outer and inner chest panels and/or between outer and inner back panels. A strip of webbing may be used to secure the body armor plate between the outer and inner panels.
GEAR TRACK SYSTEM
Systems for holding tactical gear, such as firearm magazines, weapons, etc., and for connecting such holders to a harness are described and may include a carrier, and an accessory holder that is configured to attach to the carrier. The carrier and/or the accessory holder may be formed from substantially rigid materials, such as plastic or the like, and may be configured to be easily attached and detached from one another, using preconfigured, integral connectors. The connectors may be configured to resist rotation of the carrier and accessory holder with respect to each other, and/or to secure the accessory holder at a fixed angle with respect to the carrier. The accessory holder may also include flanges, surface treatments, or other features, that assist in holding the accessory in the holder.
CHEST PROTECTOR
A chest protector may include shoulder portions to extend over shoulders of a sport participant wearing the chest protector, a padded chest portion to extend over the chest of a sport participant wearing the chest protector, a padded torso portion and a pliable shaper extending across the padded torso portion.
CLOTHING
Issue
To make available clothing that supports the wearer's muscles to enable capacity for and flexibility in movement to be improved in situations such as during sports, during heavy lifting, or being under nursing care.
Resolution Means
Clothing 100 involving the present invention is furnished with an upper-body piece 10 for covering at least a portion of the upper half of the body, and an upper-body support unit 20 formed on the upper-body piece 10. The upper-body support unit 20 includes an upper-body first support section 21 situated in sites following at least a portion of the psoas major muscles (901), an upper-body second support section 22 situated in sites following the supraspinatus muscles (903), and an upper-body third support section 23 situated in sites following the teres major muscles (904).
NIPPLE PATCH
Provided is a nipple patch for covering a male nipple. The nipple patch includes a spider film with an orb web structure to enhance nipple coverage and a finishing film to maximize the coverage of the nipple patch. In addition, the nipple patch provides a soft feel, enables the skin to move freely, and can be easily attached to skin around the nipple. The nipple patch includes a shield covering and protecting a nipple, a flexible adhesive film having adhesion to the skin around the nipple and having a center portion to which the shield is attached, and a spider film attached to a rear surface of the adhesive film, having lower flexibility than the adhesive film, and having an orb web structure to prevent the adhesive film from being stretched.
Composite devices and methods for providing protection against traumatic tissue injury
Articles including protective gear for a variety of sports and activities provide protection from one or both of linear and angular forces that either directly or indirectly impact the gear when it is donned. The articles include at least two layers of material that provide multimodal energy dissipation to minimize the extent of transmission of impact forces to tissue.
Impact reduction system
A torso load distribution assembly. The torso load distribution assembly includes one or more plate portions and a plate engaging member. The one or more plate portions includes a body having a front surface, a rear surface and a side surface. The side surface joins the front surface to the rear surface. The body includes a plurality of body portions that are spaced apart from a substantially central body portion. The plate engaging member includes a body having central body portion, a first body portion connected to the central body portion and a second body portion connected to the central body portion. Each of the first body portion and the second body portion that attach to the plurality of body portions of the one or more plate portions. The body of the plate engaging member is configured to be slightly smaller dimensionally than dimensions formed by the side surface of the body of the one or more plate portions for maintaining the body of the one or more plate portions of the plate engaging member in a bowed orientation when the plurality of body portions of the one or more plate portions are attached to the plate engaging member.
