Impact transfer device
An impact transfer device comprising a device body, an impact zone shield associated with a first body region, and at least one body contact associated with a second body region, each body contact comprising at least one contact surface, and at least one attachment structure configured to attach the impact transfer device to a person. At least a portion of a force applied to the impact surface is transferred to the second body region of the person through the contact surfaces.
PROTECTIVE GARMENT SYSTEMS FOR PROTECTING AN INDIVIDUAL AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to systems for automatically protecting an individual from injuries using one or more sensors and one or more protective members, and methods of using the same. The system can include a supportive member supporting one or more protective members. The protective members can include at least one passive layer and at least one active layer. The active layer includes at least one energy-responsive material that changes at least one physical property thereof responsive to at least one stimulus energy. For example, the system can include at least one energy source that is configured to deliver the stimulus energy to the energy-responsive material. The system can also include one or more sensors configured to sense one or more characteristics. The system can include at least one controller communicably coupled to the energy source and the sensors.
Load carrying supporter
[Object of the Invention]
To decrease the load applied to a spine so as to prevent and treat lumbago, when carrying various shapes of goods with hands.
[Solution]
A load carrying supporter used for carrying goods by hands, comprising an attachment attached to a worker's body and a load supporter fixed to the attachment. The attachment attached around the worker's waist, and the load supporter has a high frictional resistance material facing outward from the worker's body. Most of the load is lead to the waist and the distance between the loading point and the spine becomes small. Therefore the pressure and the bending moment on the spine become very small.
Men's and women's activewear
The Active Wear Exercise Garment, for men and women, can be worn alone or under clothing, and has various features. The Top section, which supports the breast and chest area, is constructed with fabric that has a plurality of densities with integrated elasticity, such as LYCRA, spandex, or knit fabric. The Mid to Lower Top section, the Pant section, and the abdomen Wrap are constructed with a four way multi-functional fabric, such as neoprene or similar fabric, and provides multiple benefits to the wearer all at once. These benefits include water weight loss, moisture management, body support, odor control, comfort, and flexibility. The Side Panels have the same fabric as the Top section such as LYCRA, spandex, or knit fabric, and provides extra support, ease of ingress and egress of the garment, room for the body to decrease or expand, extra breathability so that the body does not overheat, extra comfort and flexibility, provides moisture wicking and quick drying support, and extends from the under arm section to the bottom of the garment.
Airbag actuator mounted in a custom buckle for personal impact protection systems
A protective device includes an airbag assembly configured to extend at least partially around a waist or hips of an individual; a buckle attached to the airbag assembly, the buckle comprising a first buckle half, and a second buckle half, the first and second buckle halves being attachable to and detachable from one another; and an airbag actuator configured to actuate the airbag assembly. At least a portion of the airbag actuator is disposed in the first buckle half or the second buckle half.
Incontinence garment
An athletic garment generally includes a short member, a supporter, and a plurality of straps. The short member may include a front panel, rear panel, two side panels, and a waistband. The supporter is dimensioned to releasably receive an athletic protective cup. The straps are coupled to one end of the supporter and are attached to the opposing rear panel of the short member.
ATHLETIC GARMENT WITH INTEGRAL CUP ASSEMBLY
An athletic garment generally includes a short member, a supporter, and a plurality of straps. The short member may include a front panel, rear panel, two side panels, and a waistband. The supporter is dimensioned to releasably receive an athletic protective cup. The straps are coupled to one end of the supporter and are attached to the opposing rear panel of the short member.
WEARABLE DEVICE FOR FALL INJURY MITIGATION
An inflatable garment designed to reduce the severity of fall-related injuries is disclosed. The garment includes at least one inflatable chamber, an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion. The garment also includes an inflation mechanism in fluid communication with the at least one inflatable chamber, a sensor network configured to detect a plurality of physical parameters indicative of a fall, and a logic circuit configured to process the plurality of physical parameters, and to trigger the inflation mechanism when each of the plurality of physical parameters surpasses a threshold value. Each of the upper, middle, and lower portions are configured to inflate in an anterior, posterior, and lateral direction via the at least one inflatable chamber. The garment is further configured to deflate to prevent contrecoup injuries.
Cycling suit with a seat pad
A cycling suit (1) comprises a seat pad (2) located in a crotch area; the seat pad comprises a cover (3) and a padding (4); the cover (3) comprises three-layer structure with a first layer, an outer layer and an intermediate layer, and a front portion (5) of the cover is formed with an insert (10) of a single-layer skin contact textile.
CLOTHING SUPPORT APPARATUS
A clothing support apparatus integrated within an article of clothing and which provides ample support for expectant mothers while providing them relief from certain discomforts associated with pregnancy. The apparatus includes a set of stretchable wings which extend from a rear or back section of the apparatus to wrap around and under the expectant mother's belly, thereby providing support. Aspects of embodiments of the present invention allow for continued use of the clothing apparatus all through the expectant mother's pregnancy.
