Collet chuck with special interaction between the collet and the clamping nut
A collet chuck for clamping a tool shank, comprising a chuck body, a collet and a multi-part clamping nut consisting of a clamping ring and a threaded section rotatably connected to each other via rolling elements, otherwise connected in an interlocking manner, wherein the clamping ring and the collet comprise interlocking coupling elements designed such that the collet can be inserted into the collet housing through the central opening, facing away from the chuck body, of the clamping ring held on the chuck body, while the coupling elements move past each other, and then the coupling elements can be brought into engagement with each other by rotating the clamping ring relative to the collet, so that the clamping ring can transmit the forces applied to it by the threaded section during tightening to the collet via the coupling element and can drive the collet into the chuck body.
POWER TOOL WITH WORKING IMPLEMENT ATTACHMENT
A portable power tool includes a housing, a rotation motor supported in the housing and drivingly connected to an output shaft, and a connection device for attachment of a working implement to the output shaft. The connection device includes a conical coaxial socket portion formed integral with the output shaft and the working implement carrying collet to be received in the socket portion. The collet is radially elastic and intended to exert a radial clamping force on the working implement. A retaining sleeve partly surrounds the output shaft and is coupled to the output shaft via a thread connection. The retaining sleeve is provided with a radial inner flange for engaging and transferring an axial thrust force onto the collet to obtain a radial clamping force on the working implement introduced in the collet as the thread connection is tightened.
Tool holder with built-in cavities
A tool holder having a main body for coupling the tool holder to the spindle of a machine tool and having a clamping surface connected thereto for clamping a tool, characterized in that the tool holder has at least one portion shaped in one piece by primary shaping, which in its interior has one or more cavities that form an enclave in the portion shaped by primary shaping.
CLAMPING SYSTEM
A clamping device for clamping a tool includes a tool holder with a collet and a clamping nut in and the tool holder has a mechanism for clamping the tool holder and for detecting and displaying a torque applied to the clamping nut.
Cutting tool holding mechanism, cutting tool holder and machine tool system
A cutting tool holding mechanism for detachably holding a cutting tool includes: a collet chuck configured to clamp and unclamp the cutting tool; a piston disposed deeper on the proximal side of the spindle than the collet chuck and configured to urge the collet chuck by the pressure of a fluid supplied from the proximal side of the spindle in the direction from the proximal side toward the distal end side of the spindle so that the collet chuck unclamps the cutting tool; a spool valve provided in the piston and configured to open thanks to centrifugal force at the time when the spindle is turned, so as to supply the fluid fed from the spindle side to the cutting tool.
CUTTER FASTENING APPARATUS
A cutter fastening apparatus has a body, a collet, a cutter, and a cap. The body has an outer thread. The collet is mounted in the body and has an abutting groove formed in an outer surface of the collet and a through hole formed through a front surface of the collet. The cutter is mounted through and fixed to the through hole of the collet. The cap is screwed with the outer thread of the body and has a driving ring portion protruding from an inner surface of the cap and a balance groove formed in the inner surface of the cap and being adjacent to the driving ring portion. The cap has a clamping portion protruding from the inner surface of the cap and a holding portion protruding from the inner surface of the cap.
TOOL HOLDER AND CLAMPING SYSTEM HAVING SUCH A TOOL HOLDER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TOOL RECEPTACLE FOR SUCH A TOOL HOLDER
A tool holder includes a main body, a deformable receptacle for clamping a tool, and at least one blocking element which, in order to prevent axial migration of the tool out of the tool holder, is configured to engage in a corresponding counterpart element on the tool and is arranged at the receptacle. In order to allow particularly high concentricity of the tool holder and stable fastening of the clamped-in tool, and at the same time to ensure easy production, the receptacle has two spaced-apart clamping portions, between which the at least one blocking element is arranged.
QUICK-CHANGE COLLET
A collet for a tool including an outer nut having a grip and defining a collet bore configured to receive a chuck. The collet bore includes a collet engagement surface engageable with the chuck to selectively secure a tool accessory. The collet also includes a spring having an extension portion engageable with an external part of an output shaft of the tool or an internal part of the outer nut to provide feedback to a user regarding securement of the collet.
TOOL CHUCK, TOOL HOLDING METHOD AND TOOL REMOVING METHOD
Provided is a tool chuck that allows precision gripping of a tool by a collet when this collet is pushed into a chuck body.
The tool chuck includes a collet for gripping a tool, a chuck body having, at a leading end thereof, a receiving portion for receiving the collet inserted therein along an axis thereof, a holder containing the collet therein and configured to be movable together with the collet along an axial direction based on the axis, and a nut fitted on the chuck body in a radial direction based the axis and containing the holder in the radial direction. The holder has a movement allowing mechanism for allowing the holder to move relative to the nut along the axial direction when the nut is moved relative to the chuck body along the axial direction.
Tool holder having a collet holder and a tool insert for use in a tool holder
A system is proposed that is made up of a tool holder 1, a collet 15 with a clamping nut 19, and a tool insert 27, in which the collet 15 and the tool insert are fixed and positioned on various function surfaces within the tool holder 1. Nevertheless, the clamping means are the same, namely a thread on the tool holder 1.
