The method of application of the protective toe covering includes a wearer opening the lid of the case, selecting the pick-up tool and a sheet of protective toe coverings, selecting a desired protective toe covering using the pick-up tool, and causing the protective toe covering to adhere to a desired toe using the pick-up tool.
