Method and reprocessing installation for reprocessing film waste material
In a method for reprocessing film waste material, the film waste material is comminuted into recycling material by means of a comminuting device. The recycling material is fed by means of a feeding device in a multi-shaft screw machine. In the multi-shaft screw machine, the recycling material is plasticized into a material melt and processed into raw material. The raw material may again be fed to a production installation for the production of films.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A THERMOPLASTIC MOULDING COMPOUND
A method for producing a thermoplastic moulding compound by means of an extruder (10), which comprises at least one feed zone (20), at least one mixing section (30), at least one venting section (40) and at least one discharge zone (50), wherein in the at least one feed zone (20) a water-containing first component and a second component are supplied, in the at least one mixing section (30) the thermoplastic moulding compound is mixed and contained water is evaporated, in the at least one venting section (40) water vapour is removed from the moulding compound and in the at least one discharge zone (50) the moulding compound is discharged. At least one of the mixing housings (31, 32) is kept at a temperature that is equal to or lower than the temperature of the moulding compound within the mixing section (30).
RUBBER EXTRUDING DEVICE AND RUBBER EXTRUDING METHOD
A rubber extruding device for kneading and extruding unvulcanized rubber material, the rubber extruding device includes a mixer for kneading unvulcanized rubber material in a substantially closed mixing chamber, and an extruder comprising a rotatable screw shaft for kneading further the unvulcanized rubber material received from the mixer and for extruding the same, and at least one deaerator for sucking up a gas in the extruder.
Polymerization Coupled Compounding Process
The present invention provides a process for preparing an improved compounded product and a compounded product prepared by that process.
AROMATIC POLYIMIDES SUITABLE FOR 3D PRINTING PROCESSES
Novel aromatic polyimides are disclosed with sufficient physical properties to be useful in 3D printing.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A system for depositing a composite filler material into a channel of a composite structure includes an end-effector configured to extrude a bead of the filler material into the channel. The filler material can comprise a first group of relatively long fibers, a second group of relatively short fibers and a resin. A drive system is configured to move the end-effector relative to the channel, and a position sensor is configured to detect the position of the bead relative to the channel. A controller is configured to operate the drive system in response to the detected position and to operate the end-effector to heat and compress the filler material so as to orient the longer fibers in a substantially longitudinal direction relative to the channel and the shorter fibers in substantially random directions relative to the channel when the bead is extruded into the channel.
Compact camera module
A compact camera module that contains a generally planar base on which is mounted a lens barrel is provided. The base, barrel, or both are molded from a polymer composition that includes a thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer and a plurality of mineral fibers (also known as whisker). The mineral fibers have a median width of from about 1 to about 35 micrometers and constitute from about 5 wt % to about 60 wt. % of the polymer composition.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING BULKED CONTINUOUS FILAMENT
A method of manufacturing bulked continuous carpet filament which, in various embodiments, comprises: (A) grinding recycled PET bottles into a group of flakes; (B) washing the flakes; (C) identifying and removing impurities, including impure flakes, from the group of flakes; (D) passing the group of flakes through an expanded surface area extruder while maintaining a pressure within the expanded surface area extruder below about 25 millibars; (E) passing the resulting polymer melt through at least one filter having a micron rating of less than about 50 microns; and (F) forming the recycled polymer into bulked continuous carpet filament that consists essentially of recycled PET.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING FLUORORESIN
A process for producing a fluororesin in which a low-boiling component is reduced, by subjecting a melt-formable fluororesin to melt-kneading treatment by a twin screw extruder 10, wherein the twin screw extruder 10 has at least one melting zone, a set temperature of a most upstream first melting zone Z1 among melting zones is the melting point of the fluororesin +25 to 100 C., a vacuum degree at a vent port of the vacuum vent 14 is at most 0.07 MPa [gage], and a melt mass-flow rate 2 (g/10 min) of the fluororesin after the melt-kneading treatment at a specific temperature under a specific load, to a melt mass-flow rate 1 (g/10 min) of the fluororesin before the melt-kneading treatment at the same temperature under the same specific load satisfy 1<21+14.
