The carrying case has a hollow inner storage chamber to store accessories such as but not limited to, a metal key and sanitizing wipes. This hand protecting, clutching and/or gripping device has multiple uses and purposes which includes, but are not limited to, holding onto or grabbing onto metro-poles, subway-poles, bus-poles, handrails, grocery carts, grocery baskets and similar, door handles, and other objects that have been designed for public use.

The plant stem cell material may be present as a layer or coating on a surface of the elastomeric film. Also provided are methods for the production of the articles.

Retractable finger barrier that prevents transfer of viruses, germs, dirt, and other harmful elements onto finger when finger touches exposed surfaces or objects such as touchscreen, keypad and key board devices. Invention consists of a slim flexible flattened padded band housing a non-permeable, durable, tear-resistant fabric barrier. Encased barrier is exposed by pinching outside ends of band and inserting finger within the band's opening thereby providing finger coverage. Once tension on band is released, band sits securely, comfortably without slippage between distal interphalangeal joint and proximal interphalangeal joint or between proximal interphalangeal joint and metacarpophalangeal joint depending on user's preference. Barrier's retractability, which minimizes self-contamination and secondary transmission, consists of pulling outwardly cord located at band's end. Advertisement, custom dyes and facades can be incorporated. Reusable, compact, adjustable invention is touchscreen, keypad, keyboard compatible and adaptable for securement to objects such as key chain for maximum usage.

There is also provided an open-palmed glove comprising a single material in the form of one of leather, leather suede, synthetic leather, and microfiber, with a lining coupled to said single material and forming an aperture aligned with the back of the glove. There is yet further provided use of an open-palmed glove for rock climbing. The glove consists of a single material on the back thereof. The single material touches both the hand and a rock that is being climbed. There is yet additionally provided a kit comprising a plurality of pairs of rock-climbing gloves of different sizes, each having its own color which corresponds to a color of a camming device.

A batting pad comprising a body made from a cushioning material and having a ring portion adapted to fit over a batter's thumb and an appendage to cushion the palm area between a batter's thumb and index finger. The appendage has a thickness T at its thickest point located between the first end and the distant end, and the thickness T of the appendage is selected to optimize an angle of a bat in the batter's hand relative to a line parallel to the batter's forearm, the angle being determined by the thickness T of the appendage displacing the bat toward the tip of the batter's index finger and causing the bat to contact the palm of the batter's hand near the batter's little finger.

Hand covering having a retainer element

Embodiments provide a hand covering, such as a glove or mitten, with a retainer for holding the hand covering in a retaining configuration when not being worn covering the hand of a user. The hand covering may include a central hand portion, a finger receiving portion extending from the central hand portion, and a strap. The hand covering may extend generally in a longitudinal direction from a proximal side at the central hand portion to a distal side at the finger receiving portion. The central hand portion may define at the proximal side a cavity configured to receive a hand. The strap may be attached to an inside face of the central hand portion and extend generally lateral to the longitudinal direction. The strap may be separable from the inside face in between a first attached end and a second attached end to define a passageway configured to receive a hand.

The flexible layer is not connected to the first material layer and the second material layer, and thereby can freely move between the first material layer and the second material layer.
