TOOL FOR AN ULTRASONIC WELDING DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A tool for an ultrasonic sealing device with a base surface, wherein the base surface has a first elevation which extends from the base surface in a direction perpendicular to the base surface, wherein the first elevation has a first partial sealing surface, wherein the first partial sealing surface has a second elevation which extends from the first partial sealing surface in a direction perpendicular to the first partial sealing surface, wherein the second elevation has a second partial sealing surface. In order to provide a tool with which aluminum-free plastic materials, in particular polypropylene sealing layers, can also be reliably sealed, it is proposed according to the invention that both the first partial sealing surface and the second partial sealing surface are provided for processing a material.
Heating-nozzle arrangement
A heating-nozzle arrangement for heating a partly formed packaging container, comprises one or more nozzle assemblies, arranged to direct a heated air flow to portions of a packaging container to be sealed; a gas-supply portion, arranged to supply a mass flow of heated gas to the nozzle assembly, further the nozzle assembly comprises at least a first and a second hole pattern and that the heating-nozzle arrangement further comprises a selector for directing the mass flow of heated air towards the first hole pattern or the second hole pattern respectively.
Apparatus for sealing an open end of a container
An apparatus for sealing an open end of a package comprises a first longitudinally extending sealing jaw, bearing mounted on a first eccentric shaft rotatable around a first rotational axis, and a second longitudinally extending sealing jaw, bearing mounted on a second eccentric shaft rotatable around a second rotational axis, the second sealing jaw being parallel with the first sealing jaw. At least one motor drives rotation around the first and second rotational axis in opposite directions, wherein the first and the second sealing jaws oppose each other, and are allowed to oscillate between sealing and open positions by moving towards and away from each other. A first and second transversally extending guiding bar cooperate with the first and second eccentric shaft via guiding pins running in guiding grooves, such that transverse play between the first and the second eccentric shaft and the first and second sealing jaw is allowed.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HEAT SEALING MULTIPLE PLIES OF A LAMINATE
A method and a device for heat sealing multiple plies of a laminate from which gable top packaging can be produced, wherein the laminate has a carrier layer made of electrically non-conductive material and a sealing layer made of thermoplastic material on at least one surface of the laminate. To heat seal multiple plies of a laminate in a high-frequency alternating electric field, the alternating electric field is generated by a first lead of an HF voltage supply in a first sub-region of the sealing region and is generated by a second lead of the HF voltage supply, differing from the first lead, in at least a second sub-region of the sealing region, so that a different heat distribution is obtained over the sub-regions of the sealing region.
Device and Method for Inductively Heating Package Sleeves
A device and method for inductively heating package sleeves including: at least one unit for producing an alternating current, at least one inductor having at least one effective section, and a holding unit having a front holding area and a rear holding area for mounting the inductor, wherein the inductor is connected to the unit for producing an alternating current, and wherein the holding areas arranged in such a way that a gap is formed between the front holding area and the rear holding area, the longitudinal direction of which gap corresponds to the conveying direction of the package sleeves. The effective sections of the at least one inductor may be at least in sections arranged asymmetrically to one another in relation to a center plane lying in the gap.
Device for ultrasonic welding of composite material
A device is shown and described for ultrasonic welding of composite material, in particular composite material of package sleeves and/or packages, including at least two tools for ultrasonic welding, in particular a sonotrode and an anvil. Each tool has a functional surface for contact with the material to be welded. The functional surfaces of the tools are aligned approximately parallel to one another in such a way that a gap with an approximately horizontal seam direction is created between the functional surfaces. The tools are mounted in such a way that the width of the gap can be changed by at least one of the tools being movable along a feed direction, and at least one joint having at least one axis of rotation about which one of the tools is rotatable. In order to enable optimal adaptation of the movably mounted toolfor example the sonotrodeto the materials to be welded and their size, it is proposed that the position of the axis of rotation can be changed.
Method and Device for Thermal Activation of Packaging Sleeves
A method and device for thermal activation of tube-shaped packaging sleeves made of cardboard/plastic composite material, wherein a hot gas is applied to the tube-shaped packaging sleeve by a heating device in order to produce the base or the head of the packaging. To achieve even heating for the activation of the contact surfaces with production using simple construction, wherein the energy required for the activation process is used as completely as possible for the heating of the surfaces to be activated, the heating device is placed into effective contact with the surfaces to be activated by the heating device being moved inside the tube-shaped packaging sleeves for activation. The heating device has at least one nozzle element with an outlet opening, the external shape of which nozzle element corresponds to the internal shape of the end of the tube-shaped packaging sleeve to be activated.
