The medical gown may include a neck opening (150) and a tear guide (160) extending downwardly from the neck opening along a rear side (104) of the medical gown. The tear guide may extend between the neck opening and a nearest lower edge (144) of the rear side of the medical gown. The nearest lower edge may comprise an upper end of a flap opening of the rear side of the medical gown. The flap opening (140) may be defined between first and second flaps of the rear side of the medical gown. The tear guide may comprise a heat weld defined in the rear side of the medical gown.

A gown dispenser system has a plurality of gowns, each having a back region, the gowns folded and stacked back region facing up, such that, pulling on the back region of a gown on top of the stack removes that gown from the stack and exposes the back region of the next gown in the stack, an enclosure containing the stack of gowns, the enclosure having an opening exposing the back region of the gown at the top of the stack, enabling a user to grasp the exposed back region and pull the topmost gown from the enclosure, exposing the next gown in the stack. Gowns are drawn from the enclosure one-at-a-time, at need.

Medical gown with adjustable tie straps

A medical gown includes tie straps detachably connected to sleeves of the gown. The straps are detachable by tugging on them once the gown is donned. The tie members are extendable, upon being detached, around the left and right sides to a back of the medical gown for tying together to form a closure around a waist of a wearer. The tie members may be sufficiently long to extend back around for tying in the front of the gown. A section of each of the left and right tie straps may be folded over lengthwise, a portion of the folded section of each tie member being detachably connected to the sleeves. Once the wearer detaches the folded tie members, the tie members may be unfolded and elongated as needed for adjustably sizing the closure securing the medical gown on the wearer.

Garment with altered stress profile

Included are articles such as garments including polymer film compositions to alter the stress profile of the garment which is exhibited during wear of the garment. The polymer film may be bonded to the fabric to provide a fabric/film laminate.

Protective garment and seam tape used therewith

A protective garment is disclosed that is reusable and can be relaundered over 70 times. The garment is made from a single layer barrier fabric. Any seams on the protective fabric are covered with a seam tape. The seam tape can include an adhesive layer, a cover layer, and an optional film layer positioned between the cover layer and the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer can be a crosslinkable polyester polymer.

The self-adjustable surgical garment also includes a strap having a first end portion, a second end portion opposite the first end portion, and a fastening portion. The strap is attached at the first end portion to the back. Additionally, the fastening portion is removably coupled to a portion of the garment such that the second end portion is in a sterile zone of a wearer. The region corresponding to a sterile zone of the wearer being at least partially defined as a region within ninety degrees in either direction of the centerline.
