Described herein are laminated articles along with methods of making and/or using the same, including a continuous process for making laminated articles.

A gown dispenser system has a plurality of gowns, each having a back region, the gowns folded and stacked back region facing up, such that, pulling on the back region of a gown on top of the stack removes that gown from the stack and exposes the back region of the next gown in the stack, an enclosure containing the stack of gowns, the enclosure having an opening exposing the back region of the gown at the top of the stack, enabling a user to grasp the exposed back region and pull the topmost gown from the enclosure, exposing the next gown in the stack, and an interface mechanism attached to the enclosure, enabling the enclosure to be suspended on a substantially vertical surface, with the opening facing outward from the substantially vertical surface. Gowns are drawn from the enclosure one-at-a-time, at need.

Systems, methods, and devices include a personal protection gown to provide frontal protection for the user. The personal protection gown includes a neck protector extending from a front neckline of a body portion of the personal protection gown. The neck protector partially couples to the front neckline such that a separation gap between the neck protector and the body portion is formed (e.g., on either side of the partial coupling and around the back of the neck). Extension straps of the neck protector are pulled around a neck of the user and form a knot to secure the neck protector and the personal protection gown in place. The separation gap provides flexibility in how tightly the neck protector is pulled such that the personal protection gown effectively provides zone A coverage (e.g., as defined by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) for different body shapes and sizes.

Piece of protective clothing (1) for a cleanroom intended to be worn by a user and comprising an outer face (la) provided to be in contact with the outside environment and an inner face (1b) arranged to be in contact with the user wearing said piece of clothing (1), the piece of clothing (1) comprising a pouch (10) for packaging the piece of clothing and connected to the inner face (1b) of the piece of clothing by irreversible fastening means and comprising a single wall (11) connected by its contours to the inner face (1b) of the piece of clothing (1) and comprising an outer face provided to be in contact with the outside environment once the piece of clothing has been packaged in the pouch (10) and an inner face (11b) provided to be in contact with the user wearing said piece of clothing, the wall (11) being defined by four corners and comprising an opening (14) having a rounded shape extending between two opposite corners.

A protective garment is disclosed that is reusable and can be relaundered over 70 times. The garment is made from a single layer barrier fabric. Any seams on the protective fabric are covered with a seam tape. The seam tape can include an adhesive layer, a cover layer, and an optional film layer positioned between the cover layer and the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer can be a crosslinkable polyester polymer.

A gown (100) includes a body covering portion (101). A first sleeve (107) and a second sleeve (108) each extend distally away from the body covering portion and terminating at a retention device (109,110). A first concentric sleeve (119) is coupled to the first sleeve at a first connection location (121) and extends along an exterior of the first sleeve toward the retention device. A second concentric sleeve (120) is coupled to the second sleeve at a second connection location (122) and extends along the exterior of the second sleeve toward the retention device.

Trackable apparatuses and methods involving at least one arrangement of at least one trackable feature configured for disposition in relation to at least one substrate, each arrangement of the at least one arrangement having a distinct pattern of trackable features configured to facilitate determining at least one of: an identity of at least one object and at least one subject, a disposition of at least one object and at least one subject, a disposition between at least one object and at least one subject, and a disposition among at least one object and at least one subject, and each arrangement of the at least one arrangement configured to optimize tracking by a 1 navigation tracking system, whereby at least one spatial relationship among the at least one object and the at least one subject is optimizable. The navigation tracking system is optionally multi-modal.

The present invention is an improvement to surgical gown with two distinctive features. 1) the back of the gown and the back of the gown sleeves are a contrasting or bright color and 2) these same two-toned gown areas, back of sleeves and gown back top to bottom could also have a resin painted on that would transfer to any object it comes into contact with. Resin transfer will result in a visible change in the gown, a color change and/or bare spot in the resin loss region of the gown.

A method for manufacturing and folding a gown which increases manufacturing efficiency and consistency and decreases the time to manufacture. Additionally, the method includes folding a gown for packaging which will allow a person to don the gown with minimal contact with the outer portions of the gown.

A personal protection system for providing a sterile barrier around medical/surgical personnel. The system includes a helmet over which a hood or a toga suspended. A microphone, an amplifier and a speaker are mounted to the helmet. Speech of the individual wearing the personal protection system is picked up by the microphone and amplified speech is broadcast by the speaker. The speaker is outwardly directed so as to broadcast the speech out through the hood or toga covering the helmet.
