A personal protection equipment (PPE) gown formed by one piece woven (OPW) techniques. The gown features an outer coating on the fabric to provide required liquid penetration resistance.

A disposable glove and a method for making the disposable glove that reduces or eliminates glove cuff roll-down. The disposable glove includes a treated area on the interior surface of the glove that extends from the hand area to a portion of the wrist-forearm area of the glove but such that at least a portion of the interior near the glove opening is untreated. The untreated portion of the interior surface of the disposable glove resists glove cuff roll-down when the glove is positioned on a user's hand and forearm.

A wettable barrier fabric is provided that exhibits barrier function to dry particles and splashed liquids while also exhibiting wettability and wicking properties. A garment formed from a wettable barrier fabric that has good absorption properties and that retains good barrier properties is also provided.

A support structure has a support member supporting the body of the wearer when positioned thereon, and fits snugly on the body of the wearer, At least one tether portion extends between the support member and at least one connection region that is secured to the outer shell. At least a part of the at least one tether portion is dimensioned to enable the outer shell to move substantially freely relative to the support member when the clothing article is worn by the wearer.

Disclosed herein are personal protective equipment (PPE) storage, dispensing, and/or donning systems, devices, and methods for using same. In many embodiments, the disclosed storage, dispensing, and/or donning systems, devices, and methods include one or more devices or sub-systems for monitoring PPE stored at or in the system. In many embodiments, the storage, dispensing, and/or donning system may include one or more indicator for aiding a user in selecting items of PPE. Also disclosed are protective gowns for use with the disclosed storage, dispensing, and/or donning systems, wherein the gowns may include one or more features or structures to aid in storing, dispensing, or donning the gown.

A personal protection system for providing a sterile barrier around medical/surgical personnel. The system may include a head unit over which surgical garment such as a hood or a toga may be suspended over. The surgical garment may include a sterile material and a shield configured to be disposed in front of the wearers face when disposed over the head unit. The shield may comprise an anti-reflective coating configured to reduce the glare observed by the individual through said shield. The head unit may comprises a light assembly that is disposed on the wearers side of the surgical garment, and an inner surface of said surgical garment may comprise a light reflective material configured to reduce the amount of light emitted from said light assembly that is reflected back toward the individual.
