The present invention is an improvement to surgical gown with two distinctive features. 1) the back of the gown and the back of the gown sleeves are a contrasting or bright color and 2) these same two-toned gown areas, back of sleeves and gown back top to bottom could also have a resin painted on that would transfer to any object it comes into contact with. Resin transfer will result in a visible change in the gown, a color change and/or bare spot in the resin loss region of the gown.

The reusable, rear opening isolation gown is provided with an easy release fastener(s) that provides a safe and secure hold when fastened but permits the gown to be removed easily, quickly, and more safely than other reusable options.

A gown is disclosed with an opening in the back extending from the neck area to the bottom creating 2 panels. At least one elastic/flexible/stretchable strap is provided in the neck area of the gown. Each flexible strap has one end attached to each of the 2 panels of the open gown. The gown is designed for the first panel to extend over the second panel and can be weighted to minimize any movement of the first panel away from the second panel. In another embodiment a portion of the first panel extends to the user's side or front area and secured to the side or front of the gown.

The helmet including a shell, a face frame coupled to the shell, a static tab, a first fastener disposed on the face frame; and a fan mounted to the shell and configured to circulate air about the user. The hood may include a first material defining an opening. The shield may be formed from flexible material and disposed within the opening of the hood. The shield may further include a tab extending from a top portion of the shield and define an opening configured to receive the static tab of the helmet to align the shield to the helmet. The first fastener disposed on the face frame may be configured to facilitate removable attachment of the shield to the helmet.

Liquid-impermeable stitching method for seam of vapor-permeable virus-barrier fabric

A fluid impervious stitching method for a seam of a vapor-permeable virus-barrier laminate. The laminate comprises: at least one thermoplastic resin fiber layer; at least one vapor-permeable virus-barrier thermoplastic elastomer film layer; and a bonding layer located between the two layers and formed of an adhesive capable of being fused with the two layers. In the stitching method, overlapping or stacking is performed to form a seam, and heat sealing is performed on the laminate at the seam. The temperature of heat sealing is higher than the melting point of a material layer having the highest melting point in the laminate, but lower than the temperature at which perforation or decomposition occurs in any material layer in the laminate. The heat-stitched seam has excellent windproof, vapor-permeable, virus barrier and liquid-barrier performance, has a smooth appearance without wrinkles, and feels soft. Also provided is a protective textile product prepared by means of the stitching method.
