Various embodiments of patient-mittens are disclosed and described. Such embodiments may include a hand-cover portion attached to a hollow elongate-sleeve portion. The hand-cover portion may cover the hand and fingers, preventing the patient from scratching themselves. The elongate-sleeve portion may cover a majority of an arm. Opposite from the hand-cover portion, there may be an arm-grabber attached at an end of the elongate-sleeve. This arm-grabber may squeeze the upper arm, above the elbow, to help keep the patient-mitten from coming off. Some embodiments, may include an access-slit on the elongate-sleeve for placing IVs and the like in a patient wearing the patient-mitten. The patient-mitten may help to minimize IVs and vital sign sensors from becoming dissociated from the patient. Some embodiments may be UV permeable to encourage vitamin D production in the patient. Some embodiments may provide a conducive environment for treating skin conditions on the arm, hand, or fingers.

SENSOR CONNECTION ASSEMBLY FOR INTEGRATION WITH GARMENT

A patient worn sensor assembly for detecting, recording, and communicating patient vital signs can be integrated into a garment to be worn by the patient. A lead assembly can be integrated into a garment to connect electrodes in contact with the skin of a patient to a sensor assembly that collects vital sign information from the electrodes. The lead assembly can be multi-layered and can include, for example, two outer anti-static satin fabric layers as top and bottom layers, muslin fabric insulator layers adjacent to the anti-static satin fabric layers, shield layers that include muslin with silver fabric adjacent to the insulator layers, and an inner layer of fabric with conductive thread (or alternatively conductive thread not integrated with other fabrics, or a layer that is substantially composed of conductive thread).

The second panel overlaps the first panel along the sides thereof when in an assembled position. The second panel has at least two different width positions for fixing the width of the privacy gown during use.

The use of significantly insulated materials for pocket construction significantly improves manufacturing costs and thermal performance as indicated in the prior art. Furthermore, the garments herein improve the prior art as iterations of this modular design can be worn independently, in a multitude of combinations, worn with other clothing, and can be integrated with other apparel from other manufacturers per agreements made.
