The present disclosure also provides an oral pouched snuff product which is obtainable by this method.
Method and Apparatus for Manufacturing a Tampon Packaging
The invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a tampon packaging (24), comprising the steps of: a) wrapping a strip of heat-sealable film (23) around a holding means (1, 18), whereby a first transversal end (27) of said strip overlaps with a second transversal end (28) of said strip; b) heat sealing said first transversal end (27) to said second transversal end (28), thereby forming a tube of film, and c) removing said tube of film from said holding means, thereby obtaining a tampon packaging, characterized in that said heat sealing step (b) is performed at least partly during a combined movement of said holding means (1, 18) and said strip (23). The invention further pertains to related apparatuses, systems of tampon and tampon packaging and methods for manufacturing a packaged tampon.
Resin board structure and method for fabricating the same
A resin board structure includes a first member including a first metal film and one thermoplastic resin layer or a stack which includes two or more thermoplastic resin layers, and a second member including a second metal film. The first and second metal films are bonded together, and at least a portion the first metal film and at least a portion of the second metal film overlap each other. The first and second metal films are metallurgically bonded at an interface between the first metal film and the second metal film. The first member includes a first junction resin covering portion defined by a portion of a thermoplastic resin layer and overlapping a portion at which the first metal film and the second metal film overlap each other, and the first junction resin covering portion includes an uneven surface to reduce or prevent slippage due to ultrasonic vibration.
METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR JOINING A COVER LAYER TO AN OBJECT, AS WELL AS COVER LAYER SUITABLE FOR THE METHOD
A method and installation for joining a cover layer to an object in a continuous process. Joining is effected with the aid of a joining material having thermoplastic properties, wherein the joining material is arranged between the cover layer and the object and is liquefied using ultrasonic vibration energy. Before application of the ultrasonic vibration energy, the joining material is preheated in a contactless manner with the aid of electromagnetic induction in the region of the glass transition temperature of the joining material or above this glass transition temperature. The object is in particular a chip board and the cover layer an edge strip to be joined to an edge of the chip board.
DIALYZER
The invention relates to a filter device for the exchange of substances, comprising a pipe section-shaped housing with a center of gravity and with two housing ends, in which housing a hollow fiber bundle consisting of semi-permeable membranes is arranged, comprising, furthermore, an end cap having a first and second opening, wherein the housing and the end cap configure a first sealing surface which connects the housing and the end cap sealingly, and wherein the first sealing surface is spaced apart further from the center of gravity of the housing than the aperture, and wherein a first fluid chamber is formed between the first sealing surface and the first opening of the end cap, via which first fluid chamber the first opening is connected to the first flow chamber, wherein the housing and the one end cap configure a second sealing surface, wherein the first and second sealing surface are not configured by way of a sealant.
WELDING UNIT FOR MACHINE FOR FORMING CAPSULES WITH PLEATED CAPSULE BODY
A welding unit for a machine for forming capsules having a pleated capsule body and a reinforcing element. The welding unit has a welding housing configured to accommodate the reinforcing element and the pleated capsule body coaxially during welding. The welder, preferably with fixed geometry, is coaxial with respect to the welding housing and configured to be inserted within the welding housing and to weld the reinforcing element to the pleated capsule body. The welding housing acts as a counter element for the welder during welding. The welding unit has elastic means coupled to the welding housing in such a way that said welding housing is elastically movable and/or elastically deformable by the thrust of the welder.
