The contact isolation gown includes a front panel including a front collar edge, a pair of front shoulder edges, a pair of front side edges, and a front bottom edge. The gown also includes a back panel coupled to the front panel at a pair of side seams. The back panel includes a back collar edge, a back line of weakness extending from the back collar edge to the back bottom edge, and a pair of back panel portions coupled together at the back line of weakness. The gown also includes a pair of arm panels coupled between the front panel and the back panel. Each arm panel includes an arm panel back edge, an arm panel front edge, and an arm panel collar edge.

A hospital garment is provided. The hospital garment includes a garment body having a back panel, a front panel, a right shoulder portion, and a left shoulder portion. The back panel and the front panel are detachably coupled to one another via a plurality of fasteners. A plurality of snap buttons are disposed on the right shoulder portion and the left shoulder portion. Each shoulder portion includes a male snap button disposed on the front panel that mates with a female snap button disposed on the back panel to removably attach the shoulder portions. The back panel includes an opening that converges to a termination point. The opening on the back panel can be closed via a tie fastener. A detachable pocket is disposed on the front panel that provides access to the chest region of a user. The hospital garment provides greater coverage and privacy than standard hospital gowns.

A personal protective equipment (PPE) isolation gown is provided that can be used by workers in the healthcare industry. The isolation gown has a front opening configuration and is further designed with fasteners that facilitate ease of adjustment and donning and removing without substantial risk of the transfer of potentially harmful microorganisms, particularly to the hair on the head or neck of a wearer, and also is relatively more efficient to manufacture, thereby providing a cost-effective alternative to various styles of currently available isolation gowns.

Adjustably sized medical gown

A medical gown includes a self-adjusting strap(s) that expands an upper torso section beyond a nominal girth thereof, for an adjustable fit. An upper and lower self-adjusting strap may be provided across the back. The straps may be formed from perforations in the upper torso section. A portion of the gown breaks away along the perforations to form the straps in response to stress or pulling when donned or during use. The self-adjusting straps allow expansion of the upper torso section to conform to users who require larger than the nominal girth, while continuing to secure the medical gown on the wearer during use. Extendable tie straps may be included, which are unfolded and elongated for adjustably sizing the closure around the wearer's waist. The tie straps may be sufficiently long to extend to the back, and back around the waist again for tying in the front of the gown.

MEDICAL ISOLATION GOWN AND METHOD THEREFOR

A medical gown constructed by heat sealing a tubular plastic structure made by a blown film process. The medical gown having a front panel and a rear panel, two sleeves for covering the arms of a wearer, with the distal end of each sleeve including an opening for enabling the wearer to penetrate their hand therethrough. Each sleeve of the medical gown having an upper seal portion and a lower seal portion, a neck opening between the two upper seal portions of the two sleeves, a gap for accommodating the body of the wearer between the two lower sealed portions of the two sleeves. A perforated section below each sleeve is provided for severing each of the sleeves from the gown material for ease of donning and wearing.

LEAD GOWN SUPPORT

A wearable support device for use with heavy clothing such as a lead gown or apron is disclosed. The device relieves the shoulders and back of weight by transferring the weight of the lead gown to the waist and hips of the wearers. The device comprises a strap that supports the gown and a bolster disposed on the strap that is located distally. The lead gown is word over the waistband such that it rests upon the bolster. A closure is used to secure the device around the waist of the wearer, and an adjustment can be located on the strap for ensuring a snug fit. The bolster is made of a semi-firm material that is sufficiently firm to support a lead gown and flexible to conform comfortably to the waist of a wearer.

Smock

An adjustable smock that facilitates attachment and detachment from a person. The smock includes a body with one or more adjustable tabs. The tabs extend outward from the body and are configured to be inserted into a corresponding receptacle along an opposing section of the body.
