Medical garments and accessories with welded elasticized parts and methods of manufacture
A garment or accessory is provided having an elasticized portion, said elasticized portion being free of stitches or holes. The elasticized portion comprises a fabric portion of the accessory or garment to be elasticized; and a length of elastic element. The length of elastic element is applied to the fabric by a means selected from the group consisting of direct welding and indirect welding. A method is provided for elasticizing a fabric, said elasticized fabric being free of stitches or holes. The method involves providing a stack of fabric to be elasticized; stretching and positioning a length of elastic element against a first of the fabric in the stack; applying one or more ends of the elastic element to the fabric by a means selected from directly welding and indirectly welding; moving the first fabric to expose the next fabric in the stack to be elasticized; and repeating the steps for the next fabric.

The garment has an inner surface, an outer surface, and defines a plurality of slots that extend from the inner surface to the outer surface. The slots are sufficiently sized and positioned such that a respective one of the harness straps is insertable through a respective one of the slots when the garment is on the seating assembly.
INFUSION FRIENDLY SWEATER DONNABLE WITH MEDICAL ATTACHMENTS
A comfort, infusion-friendly, sweater supplements existing attire of a wearer and accommodates pre-existing medical attachments. The sweater includes a first arm portion with top and bottom plackets extending lengthwise from a collar portion to a wrist portion, plackets having fasteners and mating fasteners. The sweater has a first front portion connected to the first arm portion, a second arm portion, a second front portion and a back. A collar pull tab, having a pull fastener, extends outward near the collar. A mating fastener is on the collar portion or the back portion. Engaging the first arm fasteners and mating fasteners dons the sweater over the existing attire of the wearer, without disruption the medical connections. Based on the plackets and pull tab(s), a wearer can single-handedly don and remove the sweater, adding self-sufficient comfort with a medical procedure.
POST-SURGICAL GARMENT
A garment that may be donned by a person without requiring extensive lifting of the arms. The rear panel has generally vertically oriented left and right side portions extending upwardly from the respective left and right shoulder junctions, and generally straight left and right side portions extending upwardly and outwardly from the respective vertically oriented left and right side portions. Mating, left-side zippers are disposed on an edge of the generally straight left side portion of the front panel, and on an edge of the generally straight left portion of the rear panel, and mating, right-side zippers are disposed on an edge of the generally straight right side portion of the front panel, and on an edge of the generally straight right portion of the rear panel.
Zippered pants
Described herein are pants containing a zipper extending through the waistband and the entire outseam of each pant leg. The pants have a flange of fabric disposed on the interior of each zipper to prevent direct contact between the zipper and the skin of a person wearing the pants.
