A laminated glazing comprises a first glass sheet, a first interlayer, a second interlayer, and a second glass sheet. At least a portion of the second interlayer includes a first opaque print, and the first opaque print at least partially surrounds a window for collection of information. Optical distortion in the window for collection of information in the laminated glazing is closer to zero than an average optical distortion outside of the window for collection of information.

METHOD FOR OBTAINING A LAMINATED BENT GLAZING

A method for obtaining a laminated bent glazing, particularly for a motor vehicle windscreen or roof includes (b) depositing, on a part of the surface of a stack of thin layers deposited on a first glass sheet, in a zone referred to as zone to be demarginated, a washable dissolving layer, a pre-firing at the end of which the stack of thin layers located under the washable dissolving layer is dissolved by the washable dissolving layer, creating a demarginated zone, eliminating (d) the washable dissolving layer by washing, bending (e) the first glass sheet and an additional glass sheet, together or separately, laminating (g) the first glass sheet with an additional glass sheet by a lamination interlayer having an opaque zone arranged facing the demarginated zone.

Glass laminate structure

A glass laminate structure is disclosed with a first and a second glass ply and a printed polymer ply interposed between the first and second glass plies, the printed polymer ply may be of PVB or PET having nanoparticle-containing ink adhered to at least a portion of a surface. Optionally there may be at least one further polymer ply which may be of PVB, PVA, COP or TPU. The nanoparticle-containing ink may contain electrically conductive nanoparticles, especially silver nanoparticle-containing ink. Also disclosed is a process for producing such a glass laminate structure.

A laminated glazing includes two glass sheets adhesively bonded by an intermediate adhesive layer, which glazing is associated with a camera, the laminated glazing including an opaque decoration resulting from the superposition of a first decoration on the intermediate adhesive layer, containing a first zone without decoration placed in the field of the camera, and of a second decoration including an enamel formed into a dégradé edge zone and of an unapertured strip, bounding a free zone of dimension smaller than that of the first decoration, on which the latter is superposed during the assembly of the laminated glazing, the unapertured strip having a width comprised between 1 and 30 mm, and the smallest dimension of said free zone not being smaller than 50 mm; three processes for its manufacture and its use as a motor-vehicle windshield.

Transparent roof assembly for a vehicle roof

A transparent roof assembly for a vehicle roof comprises a panel with a transparent area, a light source arranged to provide light into the panel and an out-coupling pattern arranged on the surface of the transparent area of the panel. The out-coupling pattern comprises dots of a light-redirecting material for out-coupling of light introduced into the panel and propagating in the panel, wherein the dots each have a representative diameter of 150 microns or less, preferably 80 microns or less and wherein a total dot surface area of the dots of the out-coupling pattern is smaller than 10% of a total surface area of the transparent area. Thus, the transparent area appears transparent during daytime looking from an interior of the vehicle to an exterior of the vehicle, while sufficient light is provided into the interior when the light source is switched on.
