Apparatus for discharging chemical liquid and method of discharging chemical liquid
An apparatus for discharging chemical liquid may include an ink jet head, a gantry and a control member. The ink jet head may include a plurality of nozzles capable of discharging chemical liquid onto a substrate. The gantry may hold the ink jet head to place the ink jet head over the substrate. The control member may control the ink jet head such that discharge times of the chemical liquid from the nozzles of the ink jet head may be changed.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes: a liquid discharge head configured to discharge a liquid onto a printing medium to form an image on the printing medium; a conveyor configured to convey the printing medium to the liquid discharge head in a conveyance direction; a carriage mounting the liquid discharge head, the carriage configured to move the liquid discharge head in a first direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction; and a controller configured to calculate a control parameter to shift a printing position of the liquid discharge head in at least one of the first direction or the conveyance direction for each time the conveyor conveying the printing medium.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPENSATING FOR VIBRATIONS IN AN INKJET PRINTER
An inkjet printer detects vibrations within the printer and compensates for the detected vibrations by adjusting a gap between the printheads and the media transport. Additionally, the inkjet printer detects media sheet heights that may cause damage as they pass through the print zone of the printer and adjusts the gap to enable the media sheets to pass through the print zone without contacting the printheads. A method of operating an inkjet printer so configured is also disclosed.
PRINTING METHOD
A printing method for printing a first image and a second image while changing a relative position and a relative attitude of a print head relative to a printing object, includes a first printing step of printing a first print image obtained by forming an unprinted region in the first image, a detecting step of detecting the unprinted region, an adjusting step of adjusting the print head such that the second image adjoins the first image, and a second printing step of printing a second print image including the second image and a partial image.
SETTING METHOD FOR SUBSTRATE PROCESSING APPARATUS
A method for setting a substrate processing apparatus having a head for dispensing ink includes aligning a position of at least one vision unit, by moving the vision unit above a reference mark and taking, by the vision unit, an image of the reference mark, in which the vision unit takes an image of a substrate, and the reference mark is made on the substrate processing apparatus and fixed in one position, and aligning at least one of a movement axis of the vision unit, a position of the substrate, or a movement axis of the substrate, by moving the vision unit or the substrate in a state in which the substrate having alignment marks made thereon is located under the vision unit and taking, by the vision unit, an image of the alignment marks.
METHOD OF PRINTING USING OVERLAPPING PRINTHEAD SEGMENTS
A method of printing an image using a printing system including at least first and second overlapping printhead segments, the method includes the steps of: feeding media past the printhead segments along a media feed direction; determining an extent of wander of the media in a direction perpendicular to the media feed direction; selecting a stitching method based on the determined extent of wander; and printing the image using the first and second printhead segments. The printing step includes stitching the first and second printhead segments using the selected stitching method.
Printer, control method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-readable instructions
A processor of a printer conveys a platen relative to a head in a conveyance direction, toward a printing position. The printing position is a position at which a nozzle surface of the head faces the platen in a discharge direction. The printer is provided with a first sensor. The first sensor detects a print medium positioned at a first detection position. The first detection position is a position separated from the nozzle surface in the discharge direction. When the print medium is detected by the first sensor after a start of conveyance of the platen, the processor moves the platen relative to the nozzle surface and separates the platen from the nozzle surface in the discharge direction. After that, the processor conveys the platen relative to the head in the conveyance direction, toward the printing position.
Recording apparatus and recording method
A recording apparatus includes a recording unit, first and second holding units, and a generation unit. The recording unit records an image on a recording medium, conveyed in a second direction, by using recording elements arranged along a first direction. The generation unit generates first correction data based on an input recording job and image data and a first adjustment value indicating a conveyance position, in the first direction, of a recording medium from the first holding unit, and generates second correction data based on the recording job and the image data and a second adjustment value indicating a conveyance position, in the first direction, of a recording medium from the second holding unit. The recording unit records an image on the first holding unit recording medium based on the first correction data, and records an image on the second holding unit recording medium based on the second correction data.
Method of controlling inkjet printing process
Disclosed is a method of controlling an inkjet printing process. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method of controlling an inkjet printing process by using an inkjet print system, the method including a printing operation of moving a first support chuck or a second support chuck in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction and performing the inkjet printing process of discharging an ink onto a substrate and a first suction operation of suctioning remaining ink from a nozzle formed on a first head or a second head using a first suction unit, wherein a controller controls the printing operation for a first substrate, the first suction operation for the second head or the printing operation for a second substrate, and the first suction operation for the first head to be sequentially performed.
Printing position correction method, printing apparatus, and storage medium
Misalignment of printing positions is reduced in a print head that circulates an ink between a printing apparatus and the print head in a case where the misalignment is apt to change dynamically along with heat deformation. To this end, printing element substrates in the print head are adjusted to a target temperature and then a liquid is circulated through the print element substrates. After thermal expansion of the print head reaches a steady state, an amount of misalignment of printing positions in a direction of conveyance of the print head is obtained by using a test pattern printed by using printing elements. Further, a correction value for correcting the misalignment of the printing positions is set based on the obtained amount of misalignment of the printing positions.
