In the time division multiplex signal, the third portion is aligned between the first and second portions and the second portion is aligned between the third and fourth portions. The time division multiplex signal is capable of transmitting the first and second data via single signal line.
Liquid ejection apparatus and data transmission method
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a transmission-side control device and a reception-side control device. The transmission-side control device is configure to: divide image data into a plurality of division data; add check data for error detection to each of the plurality of division data; and transmit, to a reception-side control device, each of the plurality of division data to which respective check data are added. The reception-side control device is configured to: receive each of the plurality of division data to which the respective check data are added; perform error detection on each of the plurality of division data, using check data added to the division data; and transmit, to a drive device configured to control a drive element, division data on which a process of error detection is performed, in parallel with a process of transmitting division data by the transmission-side control device.
Communicating print component
An integrated circuit for a print component including a number of memory bits. The integrated circuit may include a selection circuit to select at least one memory bit of the number of memory bits and fire actuators of a fire pulse group. The integrated circuit may include a memory voltage regulator to provide a write voltage to the at least one memory bit of the number of memory bits.
Print head and liquid ejecting apparatus
A print head assembled to a liquid ejecting apparatus ejecting a liquid with respect to a medium includes an ejecting portion ejecting the liquid in response to a drive signal and an electrically erasable non-volatile memory, and the non-volatile memory stores history information changing in accordance with an operation state of the print head.
Utilization of a Printhead Resistance Sensor and Model to Determine a Printer Status
In some implementations, a device may receive print data associated with a printer. The device may receive an image that depicts content that is printed on media by the printer. The device may determine, using a printhead analysis model, a status of a printhead of the printer based on the print data and a characteristic of the content, wherein the printhead analysis model is trained based on reference data associated with historical printing operations associated with one or more printers, wherein the reference data includes reference images associated with printed content from the historical printing operations and corresponding resistance measurements for one or more respective printheads of the one or more printers. The device may perform, based on the status, an action associated with the printhead of the printer.
METHOD OF PRINTING A PRINT JOB WITH DIGITAL FINISHING VISUALIZATION IMAGES
The present invention relates to a method of printing a print job by an image reproduction system. The print job specifies a printing step on an image receiving medium and a finishing step in or on the image receiving medium. The method comprises the steps of receiving the print job by the image reproduction system and receiving a trigger by a controller of the image reproduction system that the finishing step is not to be performed. In such a case for a digital image comprised in print job data of the print job, at least one digital finishing visualization image of a predetermined visual appearance of a result of the finishing step in or on the image receiving medium is obtained as well as a position of the digital image for merging the obtained at least one digital finishing visualization image with the digital image. The digital image is updated by merging the obtained at least one digital finishing visualization image with the digital image at the obtained position. The updated digital image is printed by the image reproduction system.
CONTROL APPARATUS FOR PRINTING APPARATUS, PRINTING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing apparatus prints an image by applying ink to a print surface of an inclined print medium using a print head. A control apparatus for the printing apparatus acquires information on an inclination of the print surface. Based on the information, printing is controlled according to a print condition corresponding to a magnitude of the inclination of the print surface.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR OPERATING A PRINTER APPARATUS
Various embodiments disclose a method for operating a printer apparatus. The method comprising monitoring a utilization rate of each heating element in a first set of heating elements defined by a print head arrangement. Further, the method comprises generating a utilization dataset based upon monitoring of the utilization rate of each heating element in the first set of heating elements print head arrangement. Furthermore, the method includes analyzing the utilization dataset to identify one or more overutilized heating elements of the first set of heating elements. Additionally, the method includes identifying a second set of heating elements defined by the print head arrangement. The second set of heating elements comprises a portion of the first set of heating elements exclusive of the one or more overutilized heating elements. The method further includes processing a print job. The processed print job utilized the second set of heating elements during printing.
Print component with memory circuit
A memory circuit for a print component including a plurality of I/O pads, including an analog pad, to connect to a plurality of signal paths which communicate operating signals to the print component. The memory circuit includes a controllable selector connected in line with one of the signal paths via the I/O pads, the selector controllable to disconnect the corresponding signal path to the print component, and a memory component to store memory values associated with the print component. A control circuit, in response to a sequence of operating signals received by the I/O pads representing a memory read, to operate the controllable selector to disconnect the signal path to the print component to block the memory read of the print component, and provide an analog signal to the analog pad to provide an analog electrical value at the analog pad representing stored memory values selected by the memory read.
