Printing apparatus and head temperature correction method
A printing apparatus includes a printhead with a plurality of print elements for generating energy used for printing an image on a print medium, a first temperature detection element and a second temperature detection element at positions different in a direction of a print element array in which the plurality of print elements are arrayed. The apparatus corrects a signal concerning a head temperature based on an output from the first temperature detection element, and corrects, based on the corrected signal concerning the head temperature, a signal concerning a head temperature output from the second temperature detection element.
Image recording apparatus, image recording method, and recording medium
An image recording apparatus includes a recording head including a plurality of nozzles from which ink is ejected, a memory, and one or more hardware processors coupled to the recording head and the memory. The one or more hardware processors are configured to: determine, for each of the plurality of nozzles, whether a position of the corresponding nozzle is a position to eject ink; determine whether a successive ejection operation is necessary for a nozzle out of the plurality of nozzles, whose position is determined as the position to eject ink; and cause ink to be successively ejected at the position to eject ink at a predetermined successive ejection frequency from the nozzle that is determined to have the necessity of the successive ejection operation.
LIQUID CIRCULATION DEVICE AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid circulation device includes a liquid chamber that stores a liquid that is to be supplied to a liquid discharge head. A pipeline through which the liquid can be circulated between the liquid chamber and the liquid discharge head is provided. A heater heats the liquid circulating in the pipeline. A first temperature sensor measures the temperature of the heater, and a second temperature sensor measures the temperature of the liquid in the pipeline. A controller controls the heating of the heater based on the liquid temperature measured by the second temperature sensor. The controller also monitors a change in the measured temperature of the heater over time and turns off the heating of the heater when the monitored change satisfies a predetermined stop condition.
Ink model generation mechanism
A printing system is disclosed. The printing system includes at least one physical memory device to store drop size logic and one or more processors coupled with the at least one physical memory device to execute the drop size logic to generate drop size data associated with a printing system based on ink deposition data for a print medium and ink drop count data.
ZONE-BASED FIRING SIGNAL ADJUSTMENT
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a fluidic die is described. The fluidic die includes a number of zones. Each zone includes a number of sets, each set including a number of fluidic devices. Each fluidic device includes a fluid chamber and a fluid actuator disposed in the chamber. Each fluidic device also includes a sensor to sense a characteristic of the zone and a register to hold an adjustment value that indicates how much to adjust a firing signal in the zone. A delay device per set delays the firing signal at a corresponding set. An adjustment device per set generates an adjusted firing signal based on the adjustment value, a delayed firing signal corresponding to the set, and at least one delayed firing signal received from another set. The delayed firing signals from different sets are time shifted relative to one another.
FRINGE INFORMATION MEASURING APPARATUS AND SUBSTRATE TREATING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided are a fringe information measuring apparatus that measures information on a fringe region using a temperature sensor array and a substrate treating system including the same. The fringe information measuring apparatus comprises: a laser sensor configured to output a first laser light and a second laser light to intersect each other; a thermal sensor array configured to pass through a fringe region formed by the intersection of the first laser light and the second laser light; and a control module configured to measure a position of the fringe region based on information obtained when the thermal sensor array passes through the fringe region.
Liquid ejecting apparatus and drive method of liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes an ejection section that includes a nozzle which ejects a liquid, a pressure chamber which communicates with the nozzle, and a piezoelectric actuator which imparts a pressure fluctuation to the liquid in the pressure chamber, a drive waveform generation section that generates a drive waveform including a non-ejection vibration pulse which, when supplied to the piezoelectric actuator, imparts the pressure fluctuation to the liquid in the pressure chamber such that the liquid is not ejected from the nozzle and a control section that controls supply of the non-ejection vibration pulse to the piezoelectric actuator in accordance with a temperature of the liquid in the pressure chamber.
Emulating parameters of a fluid ejection die
An integrated circuit includes thermal tracking logic, control logic, and an output interface. The thermal tracking logic determines a temperature of a fluid ejection die. The control logic defines an emulated parameter of the fluid ejection die as a function of the temperature of the fluid ejection die. The output interface outputs the emulated parameter to a printer system based on the function and the temperature of the fluid ejection die.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A method for inspecting an ink discharge status based on a temperature change of an energy generating element includes calculating a difference value between a value obtained by statistics of information indicating ink discharge statuses obtained for a plurality of nozzles close to a target nozzle and the information obtained for the target nozzle; comparing the calculated difference value with a predetermined threshold; and judging the ink discharge status for the target nozzle based on a result of the comparison. This enables to appropriately detect a nozzle which is in a discharge failure status due to an ink droplet adhered to a discharge surface of a printhead or the like.
