Liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a control circuit substrate that outputs a head control signal for use in controlling an ejection head to a head circuit substrate. The control circuit substrate includes a first buffer circuit having a first buffer and a second buffer. The first buffer circuit can simultaneously write first image data contained in the base image data signal into the first buffer and read second image data contained in the base image data signal from the second buffer. The first buffer circuit writes the first image data into the first buffer at a first frequency and reads the first image data from the first buffer at a second frequency, which is higher than the first frequency. The first buffer circuit writes the second image data into the second buffer at the first frequency and reads the second image data from the second buffer at the second frequency.
Printing device, printing method, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium therefor
A printing device comprises a nozzle configured to eject liquid by an energy generating element, a first selector configured to select, for each particular time period, data indicating a drive waveform based on a voltage value in the particular time period, a signal generator configured to generate a time-division multiplex signal, and a separator configured to separate a drive waveform signal indicating the drive waveform from the time-division multiplex signal generated by the signal generator. The energy generating element is configured to be driven by the drive waveform separated by the separator, and the signal generator is configured to increase an assigned time period, in the particular time period, assigned per the drive waveform selected by the first selector as a number of the drive waveforms selected by the first selector decreases.
Signal generation device, liquid ejection device, and signal generation method capable of suppressing extension of liquid ejection interval
A signal generation device includes a first signal generation portion and a second signal generation portion. The first signal generation portion, based on a reference signal that includes a plurality of rectangular single-wave signals, generates an original common signal in which the rise times of the two or more of the single-wave signals are extended so that they are different from each other, and the fall timing of one or more of the single-wave signals is shifted. The second signal generating portion generates a drive signal to be input to a piezoelectric element by extracting a rising edge of any one of the single-wave signals, the rise time of which is extended, from the original common signal amplified by the amplifying portion, maintaining a signal level changed by extracting the rising edge of the single-wave signal, and extracting a falling edge of a single-wave signal after the single-wave signal.
