Printing apparatus, printing method and non-transitory computer-readable medium storing program regarding printing method
There is provided a printing apparatus including: a head having nozzles aligned in a first direction, a manifold, and a driving element; a first temperature sensor configured to detect, in the manifold, a temperature difference between a temperature of the ink at an upstream in the first direction and a temperature of the ink at a downstream in the first direction; and a controller. The nozzles have a first nozzle and a second nozzle. The controller is configured to execute: causing of the head to perform printing, and performing of position correction of correcting a discharge timing of the ink from the nozzles based on the temperature difference so that a distance between a landing position of the ink discharged from the first nozzle and a landing position of the ink discharged from the second nozzle becomes short in a second direction crossing the first direction.
RECORDING APPARATUS
When a wave shape is formed in a sheet of paper, a suppression of a reduction in recording quality that is caused by a shape of the paper is achieved, and thus, favorable recording quality is obtained.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a plurality of recording heads that performs recording by discharging ink onto a recording medium, a carriage on which the plurality of the recording heads are mounted, a reference portion provided at a position faceable by the plurality of recording heads, a distance sensor that is provided in either the plurality of recording heads or the reference portion to measure a distance between the plurality of recording heads and the reference portion, and a controller that controls execution of a predetermined process based on a measurement result of the distance sensor to adjust an ink adhering position discharged by each of the recording heads.
INK-JET PRINTING METHOD
A high precision printing method taking into consideration the variance in the thickness of a printing target. An ink-jet printing method, including: (i) measuring a distance between a printing target and at least one nozzle; (ii) measuring a flying speed and a flying angle of an ink(a) discharged from the at least one nozzle; (iii) printing a test substrate with an ink to identify a location on which an ink(b) is spotted, and calculating a thickness-related displacement that is a displacement from the location on which the ink is spotted, based on a thickness difference between the printing target and the test substrate from results obtained in Step (i), and the flying speed and the flying angle of the ink(a) obtained in Step (ii); and (iv) discharging an ink(c) from the at least one nozzle to achieve actual printing of the printing target with the ink(c) while correcting the thickness-related displacement.
INKJET PRINTER AND METHOD FOR ACQUIRING GAP INFORMATION
An inkjet printer is provided, which is configured to acquire gap information related to a gap between an ink discharging surface and a recording sheet in each individual position of top-formed positions and bottom-formed positions within a predetermined wave-shape generating range, identify, when the predetermined wave-shape generating range includes a partial range in which the recording sheet is not placed, a top-formed position where the gap information has not been acquired and a bottom-formed position where the gap information has not been acquired, within the partial range, complement the unacquired gap information in the identified top-formed position with a value determined based on the respective pieces of gap information acquired in other top-formed positions, and complement the unacquired gap information in the identified bottom-formed position with a value determined based on the respective pieces of gap information acquired in other bottom-formed positions.
PRINTING DEVICE, PRINTING METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A printing device includes a processor, a print head configured to perform a printing, and a sensor configured to detect a moving direction and a moving distance of the printing device. The processor is configured to perform processing of, while the printing device moves in a first direction, disabling the print head from performing the printing, and acquiring a first moving distance of the printing device in the first direction detected by the sensor, processing of, while the printing device moves in a second direction which is different from the first direction, determining that the print head has reached a printing start position when moving of a second moving distance based on the first moving distance of the printing device is detected by the sensor, and processing of, when it is determined that the print head has reached the printing start position, enabling the print head to start the printing.
Estimation of pen to paper spacing
Examples include estimation of pen to paper spacing (PPS). Examples include an alignment pattern printed on a medium at a target speed, an optical scan procedure performed on the printed alignment pattern to determine values of cross-media misalignment for first and second portions of the alignment pattern, determination of a dynamic swath height error (DSHE) effect value based on the values of cross-media misalignment, and estimation of an amount of PPS based on the determined DSHE effect value and the target print speed.
Ink jet recording method for printing pigment
There is provided an ink jet recording method for printing a pigment in which a pigment printing ink composition including at least pigment as a colorant is discharged from a nozzle opening as an ink droplet having an amount of the ink of the ink droplet of 9 ng or less with an average discharging speed V of 5 m/s or greater at a distance in the range of 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm in the direction from the nozzle opening to cloth, and whereby the pigment printing ink composition is adhered to the cloth.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
The printing apparatus is provided with a transport mechanism section that transports work, a printing mechanism section that has nozzles, which carry out printing by discharging an ink, as liquid droplets, onto the work transported by the transport mechanism section, and an adjustment section that adjusts a volume per single droplet of the ink discharged from the nozzles on the basis of a separation distance between the nozzles and the work, which is positioned directly below the nozzles.
Method for inkjet printing
A method for printing on sheets in an inkjet process using nozzles includes transporting the sheets on a drum. When the nozzles are actuated by a computer, banding defects are compensated for and the computer factors in or takes into consideration thermal properties of the drum as it actuates the nozzles.
