A printing device includes a housing, a head arranged inside the housing and configured to eject a liquid, a fan arranged inside the housing, a humidifier configured to supply humidified air to a supply port arranged at an exhaust port side of the fan, and a filter arranged at a fan side of the supply port.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting portion configured to eject a liquid, a liquid collection device including a band-shaped member configured to come into contact with the liquid ejecting portion to wipe a liquid attached to the liquid ejecting portion, and a winding portion configured to wind up the band-shaped member, a temperature/humidity sensor configured to acquire temperature/humidity information related to a temperature and a humidity around the liquid collection device, and a control portion configured to cause the band-shaped member to come into contact with the liquid ejecting portion to wipe the liquid, and then cause the winding portion to wind up the band-shaped member. The control portion determines, based on the temperature/humidity information acquired by the temperature/humidity sensor, a winding length of the band-shaped member wound by the winding portion after the band-shaped member wipes the liquid.
Liquid discharge apparatus and display control method in liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid discharge apparatus is provided that includes a discharge unit configured to discharge a liquid onto a medium, a support portion configured to support a portion of the medium, the liquid being discharged from the discharge unit onto the portion of the medium, a housing including therein the discharge unit, a humidity detection unit configured to detect a humidity, and a display control unit configured to display an indication prompting adjustment of a temperature or humidity when the humidity detection unit detects a humidity less than a lower limit value, and configured to display an indication prompting adjustment of a temperature or humidity when the humidity detection unit detects a humidity exceeding an upper limit value greater than the lower limit value.
PRINT DRYING
Some examples include a print system including a memory to store instructions and print data of a print job, a processor to execute the instructions in the memory to reference the print data of the print job, determine a process characteristic of a print job, the process characteristic including one of a plexity of the print job, a finishing of the print job, or a humidity of the print environment, and transform the process characteristic into a print process modifier. The print system including a print engine including a print path to move the medium along to deposit a print substance onto a medium based on the print data and apply drying to the medium, and a controller operably coupled to the processor and the print engine, the controller to adjust the drying of the medium along the print path of the print engine based on the print process modifier.
Printing system with self-purge, sediment prevention and fumes removal arrangements
A printing head assembly with integrated purge mechanism is disclosed. The printing head assembly comprises: (a) a liquid dispensing head comprising one or more dispensing nozzles enclosed in a nozzle plate, driven by at least first and second pressures, and (b) a shielding mask including an opening in front of the one or more nozzles, wherein the opening being configured such that when printing liquid is dispensed from the head driven by the first pressure, the liquid being dispensed in pulses through the opening in the shielding mask, and (ii) when purge printing liquid is dispensed from the head driven by the second pressure, the liquid being drawn to a capillary gap formed between the shielding mask and the nozzle plate thereby removing the purge printing liquid from the nearby nozzles.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a print head provided with a discharge port that discharges liquid and a pressure chamber filled with the liquid to be discharged from the discharge port, and configured to perform a printing operation by discharging the liquid from the discharge port based on print data, includes a circulation unit that performs circulation of the liquid in a circulation passage including the pressure chamber in a state where the printing operation is performed, and includes a control unit that controls the circulation unit to continue the circulation for a predetermined time after the printing operation is completed.
Liquid ejection apparatus
A liquid ejection apparatus includes: an ejection head; a head scanning mechanism; a controller; and a storage, wherein the controller is configured to: perform, in a case where viscosity of the liquid satisfies a first condition, a first printing process of: discarding the liquid at a discard position and then printing a partial image; perform, in a case where viscosity of the liquid does not satisfy the first condition, the controller performs a second printing process of: printing the partial image on the recording medium, without discarding the liquid; perform, a division process of dividing the image data corresponding to at least first one pass of the image data into a first division data and a second division data; and, in the second printing process, the controller controls to eject the liquid based on the first division data and eject the liquid based on the second division data.
