Drive Circuit And Liquid Ejecting Apparatus
A drive circuit includes a first voltage output circuit coupled to a first terminal and outputting a first voltage signal, a second voltage output circuit coupled to a second terminal and outputting a second voltage signal, and a drive signal output circuit coupled to the first terminal and outputting a drive signal. In a first mode, the second voltage output circuit outputs the second voltage signal and the drive signal output circuit outputs the drive signal whose voltage value varies. In a second mode, the second voltage output circuit outputs the second voltage signal and the drive signal output circuit outputs the drive signal which is constant at a third voltage value. In a third mode, the first voltage output circuit outputs the first voltage signal and the second voltage output circuit outputs the second voltage signal.
Inkjet printing apparatus
A second power is lower than a first power to be supplied during a printing operation. In a case where the second power is supplied to a print head through a cable as a drive power for the nozzles in the print head, the change in voltage of the second power is detected. The nozzles in the nozzle arrays are driven on an array-by-array basis with the second power on the basis of a control signal, and whether there is breakage in the cable is detected on the basis of the result of the detection of the change in voltage of the second power during the driving of the nozzles.
MEASURING PHYSICAL PARAMETERS
A method may include measuring at least one physical parameter of at least one component of a plurality of components of a first fluid ejection die; and calculating an operating energy value to be used to operate the first fluid ejection die based on the at least one physical parameter of the at least one component.
Inkjet recording apparatus capable of suppressing deviation between residual ink quantity indicated by count value and actual ink quantity in ink chamber
An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a tank having an ink chamber; a recording head; a memory; a display; an operation interface; a power switching section; and a controller. The power switching section is configured to be switched between a first state where an electric power is supplied to the recording head and the display and a second state where supply of an electric power to the recording head and the display is interrupted. After the power switching section is switched from the second state to the first state, the controller executes a query process to: display a query screen inquiring whether the ink chamber has been refilled with ink; and receive one of a first operation and a second operation. In response to receiving the first operation indicating that ink chamber has been refilled with ink, the controller executes an initialization process to initialize a count value.

DRIVE CIRCUIT AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A drive circuit that drives a piezoelectric device including a drive signal selection control circuit which controls supply of the drive signal to the piezoelectric element, the drive circuit including a drive signal output circuit that outputs the drive signal, a power supply voltage signal output circuit that outputs a power supply voltage signal, and a power supply voltage control circuit that controls supply of the power supply voltage signal to the drive signal selection control circuit, in which the drive signal output circuit includes a modulation circuit, an amplification circuit, a demodulation circuit, a feedback circuit, and a discharge circuit, a first wiring electrically couples the drive signal selection control circuit and the power supply voltage control circuit to each other, and the discharge circuit is electrically coupled to a second wiring through which the drive signal output from the demodulation circuit propagates, through the feedback circuit.
Fluid ejection device capping
In an example, an apparatus is described that a fluid ejection device to dispense fluid. A local service controller controls dispensing of the fluid by the fluid ejection device under a direction of a fluid ejection controller. The local service controller also initiates, autonomously of the fluid ejection controller, capping of the fluid ejection device in response to the detection of a failure condition by the local service controller. Capping mechanics are provided to cap the fluid ejection device under the direction of the local service controller.
Ink jet head and ink jet printer
An ink jet head includes an actuator, a driver IC, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a fuse. The actuator is configured to cause ink to be discharged from nozzles. The driver IC is configured to drive the actuator. The first capacitor is connected between a ground line and a first node of a power supply line connected to the driver IC. The second capacitor is connected between a ground line and a second node of the power supply line. A capacitance of the second capacitor is less than a capacitance of the first capacitor. The fuse is on the power supply line between the first node and the second node.
