PRINTER FOR PRINTING HISTOLOGY LABORATORY CONSUMABLE ARTICLES
20220314605 · 2022-10-06 ·

A printer for printing on unused histology-laboratory consumable articles including an optical reading apparatus which reads an image pattern of a histology-laboratory consumable article to be printed on, generates analog or digital image signals relating to the image pattern that has been read, and transfers the image signals to a control apparatus of the printer which evaluates the received image signals and as a function of the evaluation result establishes at least one processing step for the further processing of the histology-laboratory consumable article with regard to the quality of the impression to be printed.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRINTING COLOR IMAGES ON SUBSTRATES IN AN INKJET PRINTER

A method of operating a printer distributes inkjet operations from frequently used inkjets to lesser used inkjets. The redistribution of the inkjet operations helps reduce the number of inkjets exhibiting cross-process direction error so printhead maintenance operations, such as purging, occur less frequently.

Liquid ejection apparatus, liquid ejection system, and liquid ejection method

A liquid ejection apparatus includes a plurality of liquid ejection head units that eject liquid onto a conveyed object at different positions along a conveying path; a first support member and a second support member that are respectively provided at an upstream side and a downstream side of a landing position of liquid ejected by a corresponding liquid ejection head unit; a first detection unit that is installed between the first support member and the second support member and is configured to detect a position of the conveyed object in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of the conveyed object; a second detection unit that is installed upstream of the first detection unit; and a movement control unit that moves each liquid ejection head unit based on a plurality of detection results output by the first detection unit and/or the second detection unit.

The present invention discharges ink from a plurality of inkjet heads and is used when performing drive whereby one droplet or a plurality of droplets are discharged onto and united on one pixel. A drive signal includes a drive waveform comprising N number (N being an integer of at least 2) of drive waveform elements and is configured so as to fulfil the relationship 1.1 Tc≤Ts≤1.4 Tc, when Tc is the natural vibration cycle determined from the inkjet head structure and Ts is the time from the start point of the drive waveform to the start point of the subsequent drive waveform. As a result, velocity deviation caused by the resonant frequency of a piezoelectric actuator driving the inkjet head can be suppressed when driving an inkjet head using multiple gradations.

INKJET PRINTING DEVICE, METHOD FOR PRINTING BIPOLAR ELEMENTS, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY DEVICE

Provided are an inkjet printing device, a method for printing bipolar elements, and a method for manufacturing a display device. The inkjet printing device includes an inkjet head disposed above a stage and including a plurality of nozzles through which ink including bipolar elements each having areas doped with partially different polarities is discharged; an actuator disposed in the inkjet head and adjusting an amount of droplet of the ink discharged through the plurality of nozzles; and at least one sensing part disposed in the inkjet head and measuring a number of bipolar elements discharged through the plurality of nozzles.

Liquid ejection device

A control section controls an ejection operation to eject liquid in each of a first state in which the liquid flows from a supply tank to a liquid ejection head in a supply channel, the liquid flows from the liquid ejection head to a collection tank in a collection channel, and the liquid flows from the collection tank to the supply tank in a feedback channel, and a second state in which the liquid flows from the supply tank to the liquid ejection head in the supply channel and the liquid flows from the supply tank to the liquid ejection head and the liquid flows from the collection tank to the liquid ejection head in the collection channel.

An inkjet recording apparatus includes a conveying portion, a recording portion including a line head including a plurality of recording heads, a temperature detecting portion, a cooling mechanism, and a control portion. The cooling mechanism includes a storing portion that stores cooling liquid, a circulation path of the cooling liquid that is arranged to be branched into a plurality of branch paths passing near the recording heads, a heat dissipating portion that dissipates heat of the cooling liquid, and a pump that causes the cooling liquid to circulate. If there exists, among the recording heads, a recording head that is predicted to undergo a temperature rise, the control portion increases a flow amount or circulation time of the cooling liquid in whichever of the branch paths serves as a flow path of the cooling liquid flowing toward the recording head that is predicted to undergo a temperature rise.

Provided is an ink jet recording method in which an image is formed by applying an ink containing a coloring material and a processing liquid containing a flocculant to a surface of a recording medium by a droplet discharge device to coalescence, wherein an application amount of the processing liquid is changed in accordance with an application amount of the ink for each unit area, and is controlled to be 5 g/m.sup.2 or less in all of the unit areas in which the images are formed, and when the image is formed in a plurality of printing passes, an average value of the application amounts of the processing liquid in each printing pass in the unit areas in which the application amount of the processing liquid is 0.8 g/m.sup.2 or more is controlled so that a deviation when compared between the printing passes is within ±30%.

Ink jet printer overspray techniques

Techniques for handling and reducing ink overspray of an ink jet printer are provided. In an example, an ink overspray collector for an ink jet printer can include a first opening defining a first print area of the ink jet printer, and a frame about the first opening. The frame is configured to receive overspray from operation of the ink jet printer and can be formed of a woven material. In some examples, a controller of the ink jet printer can reduce an amount of ink ejected near the edges of the print media to reduce overspray.
