A supporting glove includes a glove base element made of fiber material, a resin coating applied to at least a part of an outer surface of the glove base element, and an inner glove made of fiber material provided inside the glove base element, wherein a relational expression of d.sub.2<d.sub.1 is satisfied, where d.sub.1 is a volume fraction of solid contents per unit volume of the glove base element, and d.sub.2 is a volume fraction of solid contents per unit volume of the inner glove.

SYNTHETIC RUBBER LATEX COMPOSITIONS WITH IONIC LIQUID FOR ELASTOMERIC GLOVES

Provided are compositions and associated methods for producing elastomeric rubber gloves with improved strength and flexibility at desirable glove palm thicknesses. An example elastomeric rubber glove comprises a substrate formed from a composition comprising a synthetic rubber latex, and an ionic liquid. The ionic liquid may comprise a combination of one or more alkyl imidazole ionic salts. The composition may comprise one or more metal oxides, including at least one of zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, cadmium oxide, and aluminum oxide. The synthetic rubber latex compositions were found to yield a material with strength and flexibility characteristics comparable to natural latex gloves of a greater thickness. The described gloves may also be cured without the addition of Sulphur and other vulcanization or rubber accelerators, further reducing the risk of allergies and costs of production.

DETACHABLE BI-LAYERED GLOVE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

A detachable glove comprising at least two layers that are separated by an adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer includes a wetting agent, a latex coagulating agent, a synthetic organic polymer and water. A chlorinated detachable bi-layered glove and a method of manufacturing thereof. A polymer coated, detachable, bi-layered glove and a method of manufacturing thereof. A method of peeling a detachable bi-layered glove wherein the method includes (i) pulling cuff area of the outer glove layer until its circumference is detached from the inner glove layer and (ii) peeling off the outer glove layer once the full circumference of the outer glove layer is detached from the inner glove layer to yield the inner glove layer for further usage.

Glove with fingertip regions having a bullet-tip configuration

An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.

EMBOSSMENTS FOR THIN FILM ARTICLES

An embossment (100) on a sheet of film and a glove produced from the embossed sheet of film is disclosed. The embossment (100) comprises a base surface (103); a raised surface (102) opposite to the base surface (103); and at least one recessed area (104) formed therein and extending from the base surface (103) and the raised surface (102) to the base surface (103), wherein depth (D.sub.r) of the recessed area (104) is between 50% to 99% relative to height (H.sub.e) of the embossment (100) between the base surface (103) and the raised surface (102).

GLOVE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USING SAME

A nested glove assembly that includes a first glove that includes a front, a back, a thumb side, a pinky side, a first cuff and a plurality of finger portions that cooperate to define a first glove interior, and a second glove that includes a front, a back, a thumb side, a pinky side, and a second cuff and a plurality of finger portions that cooperate to define a second glove interior. A first tab extends from the first cuff and the second glove is positioned in the first glove interior.

Quick donning disposable gloves

A disposable glove and system are provided that has features and characteristic that enable a cuff opening of the glove to more easily open, thereby assisting in donning the glove. The disposable glove system includes stacked glove configurations for mounting and storage. The disposable glove system also includes features that make the disposable gloves easier to dispense from a dispenser with minimal user contact with the outer surface of the disposable gloves.

Conformable seamless three dimensional articles and methods therefor

Waterproof, breathable garments and methods of making are provided. The garments may include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The garment is conformable over a range of sizes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of forming molds. The ePTFE membrane may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, a mold having a desired size to form a garment. Such a conformable ePTFE membrane may allow for forming multiple sizes of garments with various sizes and shapes of molds. In embodiments where the ePTFE membrane is seamless and continuous, the garment eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make garments waterproof.

Drug resistant glove

Highly chemical resistant glove

A chemical resistant composite glove that includes a first polymeric layer in the shape of a glove; and a second polymeric layer disposed on the first polymeric layer, and wherein the first polymeric layer is specified for one class of chemical resistance and the second polymeric layer is specified for a second class of chemical resistance, and optionally a third polymeric layer, which may be a thin coating, disposed on at least one of first polymeric layer or the second polymeric layer and is optionally specified for a third class of chemical resistance.
