Gardening glove and method of manufacturing the same
A gardening glove consisting of a glove liner defining a plurality of fingers, a thumb, and a palm is provided. The glove liner is placed on a first glove mandrel and received inside an injection mold configured to inject hot liquid PVC material on the glove liner's palm, fingers, and thumb, creating patterns of raised nodules that facilitate digging, for example.
TECHNICAL KNIT GLOVE
A glove formed of a knitted first panel conforming to at least a portion of one of a front or a back of the glove, the knitted first panel comprising four finger portions including a respective front or a back of the fingers, both sides of each of the fingers and the fingertips of each of the fingers integrally formed of a knitted material without seams, and a second panel conforming to at least a portion of the other of the front or back of the glove. The glove of the present invention is made using a flat knitting machine and the knitted first panel can comprise different yams or knittable materials that may impart different characteristics to the glove depending upon the end use or desired appearance, e.g., abrasion resistance, durability, wind protection, texture, color and the like, without a seam.
PROTECTIVE GLOVE INCLUDING IMPACT PROTECTION
A protective glove includes one or more fabrics coupled together into a form of a hand, with the form having a palm side and a dorsal side opposite the palm side, and protective structures disposed on the dorsal side. The protective structures include a first protective structure on the dorsal side arranged to protect at least a portion of an index finger metacarpal bone, a second protective structure on the dorsal side arranged to protect at least a portion of a thumb metacarpal bone, and a third protective structure arranged between the first protective structure and the second protective structure. The second protective structure is separate from the first protective structure, and the third protective structure is separate from the first and second protective structures. The third protective structure includes at least three protrusions spaced apart from each other.
Cut resistant article
The invention relates to an article comprising a cut-resistant coating which contains a polymeric matrix and a cut-resistant component distributed in the polymeric matrix characterized in that said cut-resistant component is a plurality of fibers having an average length (L) to an average diameter (D) ratio, i.e. L/D, of at least 10.
Safety glove with fingertip protective member
A safety glove having a protective member or insert extending around the fingertip of the safety glove is provided. The protective member may be positioned along the outer surface or the inner surface of the glove. Alternatively, the protective member may be integrally formed between two layers of glove material. The protective member terminates distally from an interphalangeal joint line to enable finger flexion in order to grasp an item, such as a slab of meat to be deskinned in a skinning machine. The glove may include a rough outer surface formed from thrice dipping the glove and allowing the glove to cure. Additionally, the glove may have a width near the wrist that is wider than the width near the palm to enable the glove to be rapidly removed (i.e., doffed) in an emergency event of the glove getting caught in a rotating blade on the skinning machine.
Protective device for use with a glove
A glove has a protective member in the thumb-crotch region and includes a textured outer surface. The protective member is configured to protected against slicing done by sharp objects. The textured outer surface enables grip ability in greasy environments. The textured outer surface may be formed via a foaming process during manufacture of the glove. There may be a colored layer between an inner liner and the protective member that establishes a color splash effect in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails.
PROTECTIVE GLOVE AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF
A protective glove is provided, where a palm side of the protective glove successively includes, from inside to outside, a base layer, a first coating layer, a palm functional layer, and a second coating layer; and a hand back side successively includes, from inside to outside, a base layer, a first coating layer, and a second coating layer. A hand back functional layer is provided between the first coating layer and the second coating layer, and a glove cuff may also be provided. The material of the first coating layer and the second coating layer is natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or plastics. The palm functional layer may be an impact-resistant layer or a damping layer. The second coating layer at the palm side is provided with grip-enhancing points or grip-enhancing bands. The second coating layer at the hand back side is provided with decorative strips and decorative blocks.
SEAMLESS RIDGE REINFORCED GLOVE
Methods for knitting a seamless knitted glove that includes at least one knitted ridge for cut-resistance and impact resistance are disclosed.
PROTECTIVE GLOVE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention provides a protective glove which improves protection and wearability by integrating protective members using features of thermosetting material and thermoplastic material. The protective glove comprises: a body 10 into which a back of hand, a palm and fingers of a wearer are inserted; a first protective member 20 made from thermosetting material, which is formed to protect a predetermined portion of the wearer's hand and exposed to outside and which is integrally attached to an outer surface of the body 10; and a second protective member 30 made from thermoplastic material, which is formed to protect a predetermined portion of the wearer's hand and is integrated with the first protective member 20, and which is attached to the outer surface of the body 10.
