PROTECTIVE GLOVE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention provides a protective glove which improves protection and wearability by integrating protective members using features of thermosetting material and thermoplastic material. The protective glove comprises: a body 10 into which a back of hand, a palm and fingers of a wearer are inserted; a first protective member 20 made from thermosetting material, which is formed to protect a predetermined portion of the wearer's hand and exposed to outside and which is integrally attached to an outer surface of the body 10; and a second protective member 30 made from thermoplastic material, which is formed to protect a predetermined portion of the wearer's hand and is integrated with the first protective member 20, and which is attached to the outer surface of the body 10.
HAND WORN DEBRIS REMOVAL DEVICE
Attachments for gloves or fingers is provided that allows for easier removal of grass clippings from the underside of a lawnmower deck. The attachments assist wearers and protecting the hands of wearers when cleaning and digging. The attachments may be installed on a dove with fingerstalls via a sleeve that fits over the fingerstalls and a tip that extends distally from the sleeve. Each tip may include a scraper attached such that the wearer can exert leverage on the scrapers to assist with cleaning or digging.
KNITTED GLOVES AND METHODS OF MAKING THEM
A knitted glove includes at least one finger component, an upper palm component, a thumb component, a lower palm component, and a wrist component wherein each of the components comprises courses and each course is made of stitches, wherein each of the courses of the upper palm component includes a tuck knit stitch adjacent the upper palm inner edge and each of the courses of the thumb component includes a tuck knit stitch adjacent the thumb inner edge, such that the glove has a tuck knitted ridge along the upper palm inner edge, around the thumb crotch and along the thumb inner edge. The knitted glove has high strength in the thumb crotch area and is useful as a protective glove. The tuck knitted ridge provided in the glove not only increases the safety of the wearer but also increases the useful working life of the glove. Also provided is a method of making the knitted glove. The glove is knitted on a flat knitting machine.

PROTECTIVE GARMENTS
Provided among other things is an polymeric protective garment comprising a layer of carboxylated polymer that incorporates an alumina-silica composition, thus forming a silica alumina polymer composite.
UTILITY GLOVE
A utility glove formed of a glove blank of a fabric material in the shape of at least a portion of a hand having one or more areas of elastomeric material injection molded thereon to form one or more three dimensional molded portions, the three dimensional molded portions being the fabric material with the elastomeric material bonded thereto, wherein one or more three dimensional molded portions leave at least one area of fabric material of the glove blank without elastomeric material bonded to the fabric. The fabric material of the glove blank can be made from one or more fabrics, a treated fabric, a coated fabric or combinations thereof, or the fabric may have a portion with a coating on an area without elastomeric material.
GLOVE
A glove includes a glove main body that is stretchable and made of fiber; a coating layer that comprises a synthetic resin or a rubber as a principal component and covers an external face of the glove main body; at least one impact-resistant pad that comprises a synthetic resin or a rubber as a principal component and is arranged to at least a part of a dorsal side portion of an external face side of the coating layer on the glove main body; and an adhesive layer that bonds the coating layer and the impact-resistant pad together, wherein an adhesive constituting the adhesive layer is a moisture-curing urethane-based hot-melt adhesive.
AUXETIC TEXTILE STRUCTURES
Apparatuses are described that provide for auxetic textile structures. An example auxetic textile structure includes an auxetic layer having an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the auxetic layer comprises a plurality of high performance yarns. The auxetic textile structure further includes a plurality of dispersed elastic portions at least partially coupled to the inner surface of the auxetic layer, wherein the plurality of dispersed elastic portions in combination with the auxetic layer form a plurality of double layer structures distributed amongst a single layer of the auxetic layer. Each of the dispersed elastic portions comprises a plurality of elastic yarns.
DAMAGE-RESISTANT GLOVES WITH BREACH-INDICATOR FUNCTION
Described herein is a multi-layered latex cover, particularly a glove, comprising a main body and a rim. The main body comprises an outer latex layer, an inner latex layer and an intermediate layer comprising particles. The rim essentially consists of the agglutinated outer and inner latex layer. The particles in the intermediate layer are chemically functionalized with a compound comprising hydrophobic groups. Prior to functionalization, the particles are characterized by a mean diameter of 100 m and a surface comprising exposed OH groups. The invention further relates to a method of producing the multi-layered cover, comprising the steps of providing a former and sequentially immersing it in a first coagulator solution, a first latex dispersion, a particle suspension and a second latex dispersion.
Protective device for use with a glove having textured grip
A glove has a protective member in the thumb-crotch region and includes a textured outer surface. The protective member is configured to protected against slicing done by sharp objects. The textured outer surface enables grip ability in greasy environments. The textured outer surface may be formed via a foaming process during manufacture of the glove. There may be a colored layer between an inner liner and the protective member that establishes a color splash effect in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails.
