Ink jet printer and non-transitory recording medium storing computer program for cleaning
A printer includes an ink head including a nozzle surface including nozzles, a cap including an end portion contactable with the nozzle surface, a suction device, a memory, and a controller. The memory stores a suction position, a free suction position, and a minute open position located between the suction position and the free suction position. The controller performs a suction process in which the cap is located at the suction position and ink is sucked from the nozzles, and a minute open position process in which the cap is moved toward a minute open position and movement of the cap is stopped with the cap located at a minute open position, after the suction process.
PRINTER
A printer according to the present invention includes an ink head unit for spraying ink through a head, and an adhesive head unit for spraying an adhesive material through the head.
Specifically, by including the adhesive head unit configured to spray a plurality of adhesive materials through a plurality of heads, respectively, the present invention enables use of an inkjet type print head in forming patterns on a fiber fabric, paper, a transfer film, or the like, and thus enables various designs and printing on a fiber fabric including a blended fiber fabric; paper; a transfer film; or the like through processing digital type image and data and can ensure excellent print quality, and can enhance the printing speed while achieving easy and convenient printing.
CAPS FOR FLUID EJECTION PERIPHERALS
Present examples relate to fluid ejection peripherals for, non-limiting example, ink jet peripherals. More specifically, but without limitation, present examples relate to caps for fluid ejection peripherals which may be locked or unlocked relative to the peripheral device.
LIQUID RECEIVING DEVICE AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid receiving device includes a liquid receiving portion configured to receive a liquid ejected from a liquid ejecting portion via an opening portion, a first discharge flow path configured to discharge the liquid in the liquid receiving portion, and a second discharge flow path configured to discharge the liquid in the liquid receiving portion. The liquid receiving portion includes an absorbing member, a first communication portion that has a first discharge port open to an inside of the liquid receiving portion, and a second communication portion that has a second discharge port open to an inside of the liquid receiving portion, the first communication portion is provided at a position where the first discharge port is in contact with the absorbing member, and the second communication portion is provided at a position where the second discharge port is not in contact with the absorbing member.
PRINTING DEVICE INCLUDING CONTROLLER PROVIDED WITH MANUAL MAINTENANCE MODE AND AUTOMATED MAINTENANCE MODE AS CONTROL MODE FOR CONTROLLING MAINTENANCE PORTION
A printing device includes a printing portion, a maintenance portion, and a controller. The printing portion includes an ejection head and prints using ink. The maintenance portion performs maintenance on the ejection head. The maintenance involves consumption of ink. The controller has a manual maintenance mode and an automated maintenance mode. In the manual maintenance mode, the controller executes a maintenance using the maintenance portion in response to a maintenance command signal based on a manual operation. In the automated maintenance mode, the controller automatically executes a maintenance using the maintenance portion in response to a maintenance execution condition being met. Based on control information acquired, the controller switches an operating mode of the printing device from a first operating mode of selectively executing the manual maintenance mode and the automated maintenance mode to a second operation mode of executing the automated maintenance mode without executing the manual maintenance mode.
LINEAR MOTION EXTENSIBLE DEVICE, MAINTENANCE DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A linear motion extensible device (21) includes: rod-shaped members (31); and a rotating plate (42) rotating in a wind-up direction to wind up the rod-shaped members (30) while rotating them around a coupling rotational shaft (32) and rotating in a wind-off direction to push out the rod-shaped members (31) so as to arrange them in a line, wherein the rod-shaped member (31) has: an intermediate shaft (33) and an angle regulating part (34) which regulates widening an angle between the adjacent rod-shaped members (31), the rotating plate (42) has engagement grooves (44) engaged with the coupling rotational shaft (32) and the intermediate shaft (33), and when the rotating plate (42) is rotated in the wind-off direction, the coupling rotational shaft (32) and the intermediate shaft (33) come into contact with an inner surface (45) of the engagement groove (44), are pushed out, and leave the engagement grooves (44).
Recording apparatus
The printer includes a transport unit having a support surface for supporting a medium, a line head recording on the medium by ejecting ink from a nozzle provided on an ejecting surface thereof, a head moving portion for moving the line head along a moving direction with respect to the transport unit, and a first maintenance unit movably provided in a first direction for covering the ejecting surface. The moving direction intersects a horizontal plane at an angle of 45 degrees or less, the first direction intersects the horizontal plane at an angle of 45 degrees or more and less than 90 degrees, and a movement amount of the first maintenance unit in the first direction is equal to or larger than a movement amount of the line head in the moving direction when the printer is installed on a horizontal plane.
DIGITAL PRINTING DEVICE WITH ENHANCED NOZZLE PLATE'S CLEANING SYSTEM
A digital printing device, comprising a nozzle plates' cleaning bar (9) equipped with a plurality of cleaning heads (22) supported in a floating manner by a bar body (23), so as to adapt their own height to the one of an overlying printing module comprising a specific nozzle plate corresponding to the cleaning head (22).
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a liquid container configured to contain, outside a recording area of the recording apparatus, liquid to be supplied to a recording head configured to perform recording by discharging the liquid to a recording medium in the recording area, a maintenance unit disposed outside the recording area, including a suction unit configured to suck the liquid from the recording head, and configured to carry out maintenance of the recording head, and a liquid reservoir portion below the liquid container and the maintenance unit.
