Service stations with removable service modules

In an example, a service station may comprise a conveyor movable along or about a conveyor path. Example service station may further comprise a first service module removably installed on the conveyor, and a second service module removably installed on the conveyor. The conveyor may move the first service module and the second service module along the conveyor path. The example service station may further comprise a lifter disposed in a lifting zone along the conveyor path to lift one of the first service module and the second service module from a stowed position to an operating position if the first service module or the second service module is disposed in the lifting zone along the conveyor path.

Printhead cleaning

In an example of the disclosure, a cleaning system for a printhead includes a web of material movable in a web direction. The web has a first side for wiping a printhead face. The cleaning system includes a dispensing apparatus to dispense a liquid upon the web. The cleaning system includes a scraper element for scraping liquid from the web and includes a collector element with a trough. The collector element is to cause collection of liquid scraped from the web to collect in the trough. The cleaning system includes a pusher element to push against the second side of the web and thereby cause the first side of the web to wipe the printhead face.

Coloring nozzle cleaning assembly

A coloring nozzle cleaning assembly is used to clean a coloring nozzle of a 3D printing device. The coloring nozzle cleaning assembly includes a cleaning tank, a movable scraper and a liquid-absorbent interference member. The cleaning tank includes an opening and receives a cleaning liquid inside. The movable scraper has a contact end placed inside the cleaning tank and immersed in the cleaning liquid, and the contact end can be moved out of the cleaning tank through the opening to scrape against the coloring nozzle. The liquid-absorbent interference member is disposed within an area of the opening, and is located over a liquid level of the cleaning liquid and interferes with a movement course of the movable scraper. Excess cleaning liquid adhered to the movable scraper is absorbed by the liquid-absorbent interference member before the movable scraper cleans the coloring nozzle.

Inkjet reusable jetting sheet with cleaning station

Devices include one or more inkjet printheads, a reusable jetting sheet that is adjacent to nozzles of the printheads, support structures (e.g., drive rollers) contacting the sheet, and a cleaning station contacting the sheet. The reusable jetting sheet includes an opening, that is at least as large as the sets of nozzles, and a jetting area spaced from the opening. The support structures are adapted to move the reusable jetting sheet relative to the sets of nozzles. The inkjet printheads are adapted to eject ink from at least some of the nozzles, through the opening, to print media when the opening is positioned adjacent to the sets of nozzles, to print on print media. The inkjet printhead is further adapted to eject ink from at least some of the nozzles to the jetting area when the jetting area is positioned adjacent to the sets of nozzles to perform maintenance jetting.

A printer includes an ink head including a nozzle surface including nozzles, a cap including an end portion contactable with the nozzle surface, a suction device, a memory, and a controller. The memory stores a suction position, a free suction position, and a minute open position located between the suction position and the free suction position. The controller performs a suction process in which the cap is located at the suction position and ink is sucked from the nozzles, and a minute open position process in which the cap is moved toward a minute open position and movement of the cap is stopped with the cap located at a minute open position, after the suction process.

Digital printing device

A digital printing device, comprising a suction transport means (1). The suction transport means (1) comprises a transport belt (11) used for transporting a sheet material. At least one first suction box (14), which is used for sucking the sheet material on the transport belt (11) by means of negative pressure during transport, is provided in the space defined by the transport belt (11). Multiple first suction holes in communication with the first suction box (14) are provided on the transport belt (11). At least one side of the first suction box (14) is provided with a movable door (15) which moves in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction to make the first suction box (14) fit the sheet material to maintain a negative pressure state. Using the transport belt (11) during printing, the digital printing device avoids the problem of poor registration accuracy, and improves the printing effect.
